almost 2 years, and have talked to probably every major solar
installer/provider in the area. While doing my research I?ve run into a fair
share of both incompetent and less then forthright characters, each with their
own way of ?saving? me money on my electric bill. After having done this much
research on the project, I?d argue I was in a better position to provide advice
on solar install then most of them.
Solar Energy 911 was by far the easiest company to deal.
There were no games. There were no ?money saving? gimmicks. They answered all
my questions honestly & forthright. They provided me several quotes based
on my requests. After a pretty effortless negotiation / contract signing
process, they installed my 10K system as soon as they were able to pull
building permits. The install took a couple of days and the system was up &
running. They went as far as color matching the mounting h/w to the panels
& roof as to ensure the best possible esthetic outcome. They filed all the
required paperwork w/ the city & my electric company to obtain all the
rebates / permit to operate (PTO) prior to starting, so in less than a week
after the installation completed, I had my PTO in hand and ready to save $ on
my electric bill?
It has now been almost a year since my install, and my
electric bill has been $0.98 /mo (regulatory fees). The system has been performing
flawlessly, and I?ve been telling about Solar 911 to everyone who?s asked me
about my panels (they?re hard to miss, there?s 46 of them)?
