Horrendous Experience – Avoid at All Costs! I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated I am with Reliable Roofing and Retro Fit. What started as a smooth sales pitch (Jack G., Serg B. and Mel M. ) turned into an absolute nightmare. We initially signed a contract for ~$30,000 to reroof a Spanish tile home—a reasonable price, or so we thought. After the roof tile taken off and underlay material was demolished, the company came back with a revised estimate of an additional $20,000+, claiming "unforeseen issues and more rotten wood decking than expected." Talk about a bait and switch! The project, which was promised to take 10 days, dragged on for months. The workmanship was subpar as it was ALL SUB CONTRACTED OUT to a company. When errors were pointed out, they abandoned the project and did not complete the contracted work. Despite abandoning, we received an email demanding full payment. This company doesn’t honor its contracts, takes no responsibility for its mistakes, and leaves behind unsafe conditions. Save yourself the headache and find a different roofing contractor!

This has been one of the worst hires I have ever made. As an association we paid them well over 100k for a new roof that is still leaking years later. Our representative Adelina has been dismissive and borderline combative as we have tried to hold them accountable for their poor workmanship. We were talking into adding HVAC platform sealing to the tune of 15k + only to find out that their poor workmanship was the cause of our leaks. We still have an outstanding leak and they are quoting details that do not appear in our contract and quoting a warranty that doesn’t match our document. Do not use Reliable.

Disappointing to say the least, 1 1/2 years ago spent $41k on a roof, today, my kitchen is not usable because the leak from the roof has left 1/2 inch of water all over my $6700 KitchenAid oven and spilled all over the floor, I called TWO times, ZERO response! This is unprofessional, bad business and a complete F K N rip-off, SHAME on you reliable roofing, now I know why you have so many s***** reviews because your policy is => F over the customer as soon as you take their money, I also referred someone and was supposed to get a chack for a referral, do you think that happened? NO!!! Save your money and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! They should be out of business because ALL they do is F you every chance they get! STAY AWAY, RUN FROM UN-RELIABLE SHITROOFING

The job is still in progress. I don't recommend them. It was horrible. They came to inspect but the worker only did some demo. They show up without the wood and no equipment. Angi should not validate them at all. It is nightmare. They put in a tarp but for me it a heavy plastic and hear nothing from them. Very incompetent. Nobody knocks on the door. No one in the crew can communicate well in English. They are not professional at all. They are not reliable.

I do not recommend using this company. The Salesman that comes out is dressed to impress. That is where it ends! They 3rd party everything out. I still have leaks in my roof after paying over 45k to fix the leaks and to reduce the roof. Right after we signed the contract I received a text message saying that I will be receiving a discount on my quote with the company! I called and said that is great! They said it was a marketing error and I will not be getting the discount. If you have made it this far I will make it short. DO NO HIRE THIS COMPANY. My roof still leaks.

It was a shady work because they are not doing it right.

I signed a contract and paid a deposit and then cancelled the contract within the 3 days allowed. But they did not send me back my deposit. They should have sent it within 10 days, as required by the contract. 19 days later and I'm still waiting. And they have lied to me twice about it. They are making interest on my money while I'm paying interest on it. Very poor ethics and no concern for their customers.

My experience with this contractor was awful. If I wanted to know what was happening, I had to contact them. They would tell me workers would be there on certain days, but no one would show up, not even the courtesy of a phone call to let me know. The workmanship was terrible (to many issues to list) with no management oversite. From communication to workmanship this company failed in my book. Oct. 2020

The project manager Argo was prompt, meeting my wife and I on our lunch break to give us a quote. Reasonably priced, for the size of the project. From there work started almost immediately and progressed quickly, with each major stage of the project being completed in 1-2 days. Argo stayed in touch with us the whole time and was very accessable. The work was completed entirely in less than 2 weeks. Good clean work.

We have more cracks in driveway now than we did before the job. They won't redo driveway...spent a lot of $$ and they aren't willing to fix the problem Will think about a law suit unfortunately.
