Awful awful awful! I was totally bamboozled by these people. They outright lied directly to my face. The list of problems I had with them is too long for the entire internet!] DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! They will not be honest with you and must be watched vigilantly, if you still want to keep everything on your property. STAY AWAY! They fooled me at first, and I stupidly referred them to a friend. Well after that nightmare my friends husband wont talk to me. My friends were so angry about the referral it almost decimated our friendship! Stay AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Professional Builders went above and beyond our expectations. I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends and family.

 The whole process went so well . So often you hear horror stories of work being done in the house .  True it's only flooring we had done but still they went out of their way to move each piece of furniture carefully and replace every bit of it as well.  I love the suggestions that were made as far as using better padding to reduce the noise levels.  Walking in the laminate is even more quiet than walking on the hardwood floors.  I don't have to worry about scratches and they're so easy to clean . When Jonathan came the last day of the project to check on all the work and make sure everything was to our liking he brought us a little gift! A swifter  sweeper so that we can keep a brand-new floors looking great! What a nice added gesture right there at the end after so doing such a great job and at such a great price! 

Giovanni was a pleasure to deal with, and executed above and beyond in helping to build our dream home. His staff was very punctual, professional, and easy to communicate with. Wish I had known about them earlier! 

The process was very painless. Redoing any part of your house can be time-consuming and can be extremely stressful, but the guys made this process very painless. They did exactly what they said that they would do and did it well! I would definitely recommend Professional Builders Inc. to anyone who is looking to redo their house!

I hired professional builders to do remodel my 2 bathrooms and my kitchen. The workers were very professional and the service provided in general was exceptional. This company really truly cares about its customers. They're great about following up and fixing anything I ask in a timely manner. Couldn't have asked for a more reliable contractor.

He's not only a great contractor, but a great designer. Went to places with me to pick out items. Gave me great suggestions like the colors on the inside of the house, picking out the hardware in the bathroom, wood flooring, stone flooring etc. nearly everything he helped me pick out,. Going through some changes in my lifestyle I don't think I could have got through this without his help. His people were all professional, on time and cleaned everything up. I've recommended him already to friends and I would recommend him to anyone he was great I was lucky in finding this contractor. He's even had people come to my house to show them what he's done and I've given him a glowing recommendation, and they ended up hiring him as their contractor.

From beginning to end my husband and I were completely satisfied. We were referred to Professional Builders by a close friend and decided to have them come out for an estimate. The owner, Giovanni, stopped by our house shortly after and gave us his design ideas for our space. Giovanni was pleasant, as well as informative and knowledgeable. We checked them online and they had all the required licenses. My husband and I decided to have Giovanni remodel our bathrooms and we couldn't be happier. The project was completed in less than 3 weeks, as promised. The workers were respectful and you could tell that they take pride in their work.

I bought a house in Woodland Hills for my daughter. It was a 50s ranch style that hadn't ever been remodeled.  It needed a lot of work and someone with a clear vision to help us remodel.  We wanted to change it from 50s funky to contemporary.  Professional Builders and Giovanni Knafo , the owner, turned this dated house into a home that is not only comfortable but oozes style.  He helped us with every detail, from colors to door knobs.  His taste is impeccable.  Everyone that worked on our house was extremely courteous, not to mention on time.  Giovanni was there all the time supervising the work.  Neighbors from a 3 block radius came by thanking us for the remarkable transformation and were thrilled when invited in to see the difference.  One of these neighbors has already used him for a new driveway and many of our friends are now getting bids for their homes. Professional Buiders is a complete package, from interior and exterior design (they helped us with both) through the building process to the finish work.  Giovanni is even helping us with picking out furniture.  I cannot thank him and his company enough for the truly amazing work that has made this house a show stopper. I would recommend him and his company without hesitation.  And, I also plan on using him on my house after the first of the year.

I hired Giovanni Knafo as my contractor after I bought my fixer house in Topanga Canyon.  We used Professional Builders Inc to do everything from bathroom remodel, chimney repair, kitchen remodel, a new roofnew chimney, new plumbing and electrical work, new hardwood floors, painting, you name it!!!!  To say this was the best experience is an under statement.  Giovanni was so professional, knowledgeable, and so on top of everything.  All the work that he did was so incredible and he went way above and beyond what I expected.  Every sub contractor that he had come in to do custom work was on time and also did beautiful work.  If anything went wrong, Giovanni was here to fix it immediately.  I thought that remodeling my home was going to be the biggest headache and money pit, however Giovanni stayed within my budget and did top notch work.  I have recently recommended him to friends and everyone agrees that he is the best!!! I strongly recommend him for small projects and full remodels as well.

Professional Builders did a fantastic job on our driveway and carport! Like their name, they were professional and efficient. After we agreed to re-do our driveway, back yard, and car port, Jack Tibi had his men start working the next day. Unlike many I contacted prior to choosing to go with Professional Builders, Jack returned my calls promptly. In the past I had a contractor hang up on me, when he heard my voice (this was after he was paid). Jack had some great suggestions, and was helpful in many ways. I was pleased with their pricing and they completed the job well. They made our backyard, driveway, and car port, look so beautiful. I was weeding yesterday, and I had 3 people comment on how beautiful our driveway and house look. It did give our home a new look. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to my friends and family.

Everything went very well from start to finish. The first time they came over they brought samples of different materials for me to see, as well as photos of previous work they had done. The project manager put all my worries at easy and made me feel very comfortable with my choices. The project started on time and was completed on schedule. Having heard horror stories from others I was very happy with this. The craftsmanship of the cabinets was beautiful and just what I wanted. The counters are beautiful. I have a large family and we do a lot of cooking and entertaining, the layout of the kitchen is great and we can all work together with out bumping into each other. I have recommended them to friends and will absolutely use them again.

My father is elderly and has Alzheimers. At one point he wanted to redo his house. Well when an elderly person puts out the word they need a contractor the worms start crawling out. I can't tell you how many people came to the house and had my dad sign ridiculous contracts. I had to turn around and get him out of these. It sure seems that the contracting world has MORE than their share of dishonest people.
Professional Builders came out and gave my dad a quote. Then they called me and explained what they wanted to do for my dad and how it would fit into his lifestyle and budget. I was very impressed with that. Instead of trying to take advantage of an elderly guy they reached out to me right away so that they could do the honest and upright thing.
Navigating the waters of Alzheimers with an elderly parent is very very hard. Disreputable people make it torturous! THANK Goodness I found Professional Builders. They are honest and fair ( which I have found to be rare is their industry)
One time in the rebuild they called dad and I over. Giovanni said that he didn't like how low the roof looked on the outdoor patio. Even though it looked fine to me, Giovanni insisted on redoing it and raising it up because he thought the line of it wasn't pretty. That in itself is good enough, but he did it on HIS DIME! Did not charge me one penny extra for the extra work.
And how did the house turn out? A-MAZE-ING! It's a beautiful open floor plan. Clean lines in masculine colors. Loads of windows and French doors so very light and bright.
Everyone who has seen the house marvels at it and especially the people who saw it before the remodel.
My driveway is so gorgeous( who knew a driveway could look so pretty?!?) and our bathroom actually works now as well as looking fantastic.And the kitchen remodel is sunny and open. A real pleasure to spend time in. Thank you Professional Builders for your great work and your INTEGRITY!!!

Professional Builders – You better think about it long and hard before you sign. Better yet, just keep looking. Out of fairness I am going to start with the good. The primary reason we went with professional builders is their design ideas and concepts were very good. Now that I got the good out of the way, let me tell you about our experience. They told us a number of things about how they execute projects, none of which is true in our case. The scope of our job was remove a small platform/stage floor connected to the living room, make an opening in one of the kitchen wall requiring electrical and gas to be rerouted, tile flooring throughout the house, tile shower, fire place mantel, a few recessed lights, and new counter top in the kitchen. There was also a small area near the front door where they removed some old stone and replaced with new. They promised 4 to 6 weeks to complete and they would move all the furniture back when they finish each room. The job however lasted roughly 3 months, all our furniture was in the garage for 5 weeks, and my wife and I had to move it all back. They were very quick to start the demo work then the job went south in a hurry starting with the permits. They only pulled permits for the shower in the bathroom. They didn’t include the kitchen wall and did not bring the permits to the house at first. After the city allegedly didn’t show up for one of the inspections, I called the city and verified there in fact was no appointment scheduled and the permit pulled did not include the work in the kitchen. They gave some song and dance (read B.S here) saying the city failed to show up. We yelled and screamed at them and threatened to call our lawyer and magically an engineer showed up to measure the house and 2 days later a permit with drawings showed up. They promised to remove all trash at the end of every day. Instead, there was trash all around our back yard piled higher than the fence in some places. I had to yell and scream to get them to clear out all their mess. Inside the house things were not going much better. I will try to make a long story short here. Mori and Jack made a lot of promises regarding who will be onsite and when. We frequently chased them down asking where are the people and their standard answer was tomorrow. We had to bring our titles inside that house, because when it finally arrived, there was nobody from their company to put it inside and the driver told us that he just do curb side. In addition, they didn't sent all the tiles and we had to wait longer for the floor to be done. We had to work from home to make sure things got done and manage their workers since Jack and Mori obviously had better things to do. Once the tile guy actually showed up at 5:30 PM to start. He did not have all his tools and asked to borrow some of mine. The quality of work was just as bad. They had to redo the tile on the back splash 3 times because of lazy, unprofessional sloppy work. The same thing was true with the molding around the cabinets. In some places it looked like they chewed the wood with their teeth. Electrical outlets were not properly grounded requiring them to redo it twice. The HVAC ducting that was no longer needed wasterminated by stuffing it with plastic bags and insulation. The guy who tiled the floor dented up the side of our refrigerator and destroyed the molding around the door jam. I asked him about it and he just said, well you are going to paint it anyway. The threshold for the front door was damaged during the initial demo. After telling Mori about this stuff she said, “I’m going to have to take your word for it. I didn’t take pictures before we started.” We have pictures of everything and we ended up managing their crew when they were here. In summary, working with Professional Builders was a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and just keep looking for anyone else to do the job.

They came to my home and provided me with a free estimate. I wasn't ready right away to do the work. The price they left me was good for 6 months which was excellent because I was ready to begin the work with a month and was guaranteed the same price.

During our meeting, I was shown different color choices and different carpet textures to choose from. When I was unable to choose from the selection, they arranged for a meeting with their vendor, so I could look through the whole selection before making my choice.

First the painters came. They did an excellent job. They moved all the furniture out and back for me as well. The paint job for 5 rooms was completed in two days. They even replaced my base moulding!

The following day, the carpet arrived. It was installed in just a few hours and looked amazing!

I was very pleased with the job done at my home. It was completed in a timely manner and was affordable. They offered great design ideas and friendly service. I will most certainly choose Professional Builders Inc. for my next project... stamped concrete for the back patio!

They provided excellent service from our first meeting to the completion of our project. The had expert design ideas and provided me with samples and pictures to make the bathroom of our dreams.

We choose Professional Builder to remodel our kitchen and redoing our house roof and it was a very smart decision me and my wife did!
