Petopia-LA Pet Sitting

Normally I don't write a review but these people were so excellent that I thought I should say something. The first thing that I thought was excellent was they took pictures of the dogs both in the morning and the evening and they texted it to us. This is important because we know they are actually at the house and the dogs are healthy. The second thing that I thought was excellent was the house was as clean when we came home as when we left it. The third thing that I thought was excellent was they left a personal note telling how they enjoyed the dogs. The fourth things that I thought was excellent was the way you pay. They are a corporation and they let you pay by credit card. This is very important if you want to deduct the cost as a business expense. Being a corporation, I do not have to file a form 1099 for their work and using credit cards is just convenient. The fifth thing that I thought was excellent was how they handled a problem. Instead of getting you nervous about a problem with the dogs and asked you how to handle something, they put a positive spin on the issue by telling us what they were going to do. The sixth thing that I thought was excellent was that they had more than one person involved. In case something happened to the person doing the work, the owner of the company would know and could take over. I would definitely use them again.

Great service!  Bethany, the owner, was very responsive and flexible scheduling an initial meeting at my home with her associate, Jake, who ultimately dog-sat.  Process was very easy.  Jake sent some pictures and videos of the pups while we were away so that we were comfortable about their care and to help us not miss them so much.  Felt completely confident leaving the house and the pups in Petopia's care.  Highly recommended.

They are the best and amazing. The price is great, I trust them 100% and they go beyond the call of duty. I have not one worry when leaving my kitties in their care. They even send you updates. I got the cutest video of my happy cats. And, I'm pretty sure my apartment is cleaner than when I left. I wouldn't use anyone else.

I would use them over and over again. The price was very reasonable.  I had special circumstances and I didn't think about it at all. I trusted them fully. When I came back, all kitties were great and things were clean. Amazing. Definitely use them!!

It went extremely well....Champ was always excited to see Charli...She was loving and caring...She showed concern for Champ and was always very punctual...I feel Bethany's service is outstanding and she runs an excellent business...
ltCharli was here twice a day for a half hour each time...She left progress notes each time...We were very grateful to have Charli, since we had just gotten Champ two months prior from a Shelter and were very concerned about leaving him..Charli(who walked Champ),, definitely loves animals and cares for them...
I intend to use this service in the future...

The visits went beautifully and Bethany provided us with the peace of mind we were looking for while we were away. She also sent us photos which was fantastic.  Her lovely calm and patient manner helped the kitties respond well to her.  We're so happy we found her and will be using her in the future.

Excellent service.  They treated my pup excellent and with love. Always leave notes on how he did and how the day went.  I love using these guys.

This was the first time I had met and used Bethany and Donna, but had no reservations due to the professional, thorough and friendly pre-sitting contacts.  I found Petopia-LA on Angie's List, where they came highly recommended.  I called and spoke to Bethany, and that was that.  I looked no further.  Bethany and Donna came over to get the lay of the land, and seemed undaunted by various diets, pill-giving, and my obsessive pages of instructions.  Bethany even contacted my vet for me after I left with a last minute question to clear the use of Frontline while I was away.  My 16-year old Shabi had been recently diagnosed with kidney failure and needed meds.  In the end, it was okay to give her Frontline as well - which was done.
Cats were in fine shape when we returned, and I will surely use Petopia-LA again!  The final invoice was less than anticipated, and I felt it was most reasonable for the services provided.

and texts them to me which is very comforting when I am out of town or gone all day.
They unlock my door, turn off my alarm, put her harness on her,
take her for a walk, come back, write a note to me with information about
her walk, give her fresh water, set my alarm and lock the door.
Very dependable.  Bethany's billing is very professional.  She has
my credit card info and charges me weekly and sends a detailed
invoice and receipt by email.

Excellent service.  I feel completely comfortable with this company coming into my home while I'm at work, as well as staying at my home on weekends when I need to be out of town.  I trust this company completely.  My dogs love Bethany and Donna.  I've never had a worry.  Bethany and  Donna never forget to send me a text during their visits, as well as a hand written note as to how the visit went.  And the prices are very reasonable.

Petopia cares for our dogs like they are members of our own family.  With keen attention to all the details (like our dogs moods, attitudes, energy, health and happiness) Petopia cares for our dogs with the love and attention I dream they would have from their care givers.  My dogs are older (9 & 11) and they both need special medications and attentive walks and Petopia delivers that every day and leaves us detailed journal notes so we know how the dogs do every day they come to visit.  And any time our dogs  have had any issues Petopia gives us immediate notice and offers solutions to take care of the problem in our absence.  We are soo lucky to have Petopia!  I highly recommend their service.

Bethany is fantastic.  We came home from our trip to find our cats and fish happy and healthy.  The areas around the cats' litter boxes and their food and water were immaculate.  Bethany even brought in our mail.  We will absolutely use Petopia LA in the future!

It went extremely well.  I even called a couple times with very late notice and they were able to accomodate me.  I would hire them again anytime.  They are truly animal lovers and I trust them to care for my cat.

Great - we've never had an issue.  Our dogs and cat love Petopia and are sad when they aren't scheduled for a walk.

As mentioned, Bethany is relaible, punctual and caring.  I feel safe leaving my treasured cats in her care.

They came on the days that were discussed. We received pictures of our cats playing with the pet sitter, so we knew they were being well taken care of. Our cats always seem happy and less agitated after returning from a long trip. After using petopiala services, it is quite evident that they are genuine animal lovers with your pet's well-being as their top priority. I can always rely on petopiala for quality pet care services.

Everything went very well. Our cats are pretty shy of strangers, but we've used Bethany several times now and they actually come out of hiding for her! We are happy to have someone stay at the house when we're away, so the animals don't feel abandoned. Have scheduled Petopia-LA Pet Sitting for two upcoming trips as well.

I love the fact I feel I can call anytime to see how things are going. Tom even texted picture attachments of the fur babies.

I have not wanted to use petsitting services because I am a bit insane about the care of my pets.  But a need arose, I did my research and called Bethany for petsitting while one of my cats was quite ill. She called and gave me a detailed report. I actually came home sooner due to Bethany's concern and was glad I did . (happily, cat is fine now!)  One time she came and could not get in - faulty entrance opener. She did not charge full price, which was nice.  I continue to trust her with my pets, which pretty much says everything.
