Jim came by one day after my initial call, at exactly the appointed time. My usual preparations for plumber visits (covering the carpet, making sure I had time to clean up after them, etc.) turned out to be totally unnecessary - Jim brought his own shoe-wipe rag to clean off his immaculate white tennis before entering the house, and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was done. He had already laid out on the phone what it would cost and what to expect. This was the smoothest, most competent plumbing job I have experienced in a long time. Highly recommended.

It could not have been a better experience.

First, he took the time to answer all our questions on the phone. Then, he gave us a very accurate estimate of what was involved.

Second, he showed up on time - both times. He was quick, quiet, and clean, and made sure we were prepared for the countertop installers.

Third, he did the re-connect for us on a Sunday morning so that we wouldn't be without plumbing in the kitchen for the whole weekend.

Finally, he was very reasonable with his hourly billing and parts charges.

Overall, he did a great job, and turned what could have been a very stressful weekend into a great one. We will use him again whenever we need plumbing work done.

He didn't have a big rooter machine, so said he could try to clear it manually, or call for a machine, I liked that he asked me rather than spend time doing something he wasn't sure would work. I told him to try it manually. He did, and the roots were too much. He called a rooter he uses, who was there within the hour, and my bathroom was working again in another hour and half.

Jim called the next day to make sure everything worked out ok. Really good guy, trustworthy, and I would definately use him again.

We woke up with no hot water. Even though it was a Saturday, Jim came right over and fixed the problem. We've used Jim for years......and we'll continue to use him......he's very skilled at diagnosing plumbing problems, his work is neat, his prices are reasonable, and he's very easy to work with!

A termite inspector who rawled under our house told us we had a leaky toilet and a crack running along the top of our 4" waste pipe. Jim From JLS crawled unde th house and confirmed the termite inspector's report. Jim resealed the toilet to stop that leak, then cam eback ealry early the next week week with a helper. the two of them crawled under the house, removed teh bulky, heavy pipe and connectors that were bad and replaced them new pipes. When I suggested to Jim that he leave the old pipes there because the termite people were coming back and said they'd remove all debvris, Jimn said it wouldn't be fair to them to try to haul away the pipes he had removed because thery were too large and heavy, so Jim and his helper removed thier own debris. I thought that showed a good deal of integrity. I've sued Jim four times and never been disappointed in his work. He's professional, knowledgable and a gentleman.

I have used him twice now. Jim went out of to help keep the cost down.

I love Jim. He is the best plumber, nice, honest and every job he has done for me has been done right. He fixed a job that my kitchen contractor did (had added a plastic tubing system) incorrectly. I knew I should have called Jim in the first place.

James Sabbe, owner, came out the same afternoon I called. He was very presentable and sociable -- didn't charge extra because I watched :-) . What I especially liked is, he had the necessary parts to repair the faucets with him. He guided me online to Price Pfister's website so I could order more parts in the future. He offered to snake the drain when he saw it was getting clogged, which I accepted. I though his charge of $125 was very reasonable for the time spent and work performed. I'd recommend Jim and use him again.

He is an outstanding plumber. He is honest and does great work. He is very professional and we really liked his work. Someone recommended him to us.

Jim did an excellent job of getting the hot water running again in my kitchen sink. He replaced two galvanized right-angle joints (the cold one, too) which had become clogged with deposits because they were connected to copper/brass piping. He also checked both lines to make certain there were no other obstructions. Jim also explained that there is still a good chance that problems will occur further up the line, but he did not try to sell me any more services. This was exactly what I wanted done and Jim did it quickly, efficiently and with a courteous and friendly manner.

Fantastic. Jim was prompt and the best thing about him is that he is super considerate of your home. He put a clean white cloth on my doormat to clean his shoes before coming inside. He treats your home as if it were his, ensuring his tools or anything he is carrying never scratches or hits a wall or furniture. This was the second/third time I used him. I don't count the second as I had a leak from my dishwasher which he investigated but found that the only problem was that I had not completely cleared my disposal and had blocked the water flow-he could have said something was wrong and charged a bunch. Instead he was fair and only charged me for 1/2 hour of his time-very fair as he did spend at least that investigating and running short cycles to try to find a problem. Jim is trustworthy-a huge compliment from me is not easily trusting of vendors.

We've used Jim for 10 years and find him to be scrupulously honest, prompt and professional.

Great! Jim was nice, he got right to work. He was a bit late, but explained that the job before mine ran long. I provided most parts but had not planned on having the lines to the toilets replaced, since he was there and had the parts he also performed that service as well, the prices for the parts were more than fair. He honored his hourly fee and even took a look at my washer without charging me for his time. I will use him again.

Jim was on time, efficient, clean, courteous and very honest. He even showed me the worn parts that he removed and replaced--like what a reputable car repairman would do. He is very competent and quickly assesses what is wrong and how to repair/replace parts. He does not try to sell extras or replace parts that are not damaged, like many of those plumbers-in-the-vans do. This guy is a gem.
