Mark was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but he did an excellent job on refinishing my oak floors in my tri level condo. I recommend him and I’m going to have him touch up the floor in the future for on going upkeep.

It was great to work with Finest Flooring. Mark was professional, communicative and very helpful. We had a tight schedule to get our hardwood floors and carpet done before we moved in and Mark made it happen! Even when we lost a day because of escrow closing later, Mark rearranged his schedule to make it work. I will definitely hire Mark again.

Working with Mark was wonderful. Iâd thought my floors needed sanding to correct the scratches - something I wasnât looking forward to because of the mess and cost involved. Mark called, made an appointment to see my floor and arrived on time! He said that I didnât need sanding, just buffing and a new surface. The job went smoothly, he delivered as promised and Iâm thrilled with the result. Definitely would recommend Mark and Finest Flooring.

Mark said there was no warranty for his work because they would be buffing and polishing but not sanding. I wanted him to explain why there was no warranty...because they would not be able to remove the marks and scratches in the wood...but he didn't say that. He told me a metaphor that didn't help. The result of the work was as good as it can get for buffing/polishing. The wooden floors look better than before. I should have had them sanded but didn't have time before inspection. The inspection went well. He may not have noticed the flaws. I used area rugs to cover up the problems.

Finally, a person who does what he says he's going to do! I met with Mark at an agreed upon time--right on time. He explained my options clearly and helped me make the right decision about whether to stain or not. He gave me a price and told me when it would be finished...this was crucial as I needed to schedule the painting and other workmen for other work that needed to be done. He kept his word on completion time and no renegotiating price after the job was finished. He was a gentleman and I would would gladly use him again and recommend Finest Flooring to friends.

These guys are a Godsend. I was in desperate staights after a horribly botched floor refininsh. I searched Homeadvisor for a pro at 7pm and requested a quote from Finest Flooring. Marc contacted me within an hour. I told him I was desperately in need of a fix and he agreed to come the next morning. They arrived on time. Checked out the job and got straight to work this morning. Finished two coats of urethane today and will do the final coat tomorrow. The floor looks amazing and I am so grateful I found them. These guys are real pros. Quality job for a very fair price.

Initially, I was reluctant to use the on-line service to find contractors. I've heard of too many horror stories. However, everything went smoothly; from the estimate, to scheduling, to final product. The floors in this house have been covered since we purchased the house in 1986. There were many water marks and dark spots that we were concerned would not come out; not to mention the nail holes from the carpet tack strip. Mark is very friendly and professional. He was confident the stains would not be noticeable once the stain and final coating were applied. As promised, the water stains were removed or faded with the sanding. The holes were filled in and the floors were covered with the wonderful stain color suggested by Mark. The crew was great! They were on time and did a fantastic job! The floors look amazing! Truly happy with this company and the process!

The customer service from the owner of Finest Flooring was disappointing at best. The owner is very aggressive and pushy. It's unfortunate because the work was good not exemplary.

"2 hours before I started this job, the customer, [Consumer name withheld at their request] left for LAX to fly to NY. As I started to move his furniture, I saw it is very heavy and hard to dismantle (took me 6 1/2 hours to move his furniture, something it takes normally 1 to 2 hours) I did not want to stop the job for 2 reasons: 1- [Consumer name withheld at their request] was in the air 2- I don't like to be held by the balls and I never hold people by the balls..... I felt at the time that [Consumer name withheld at their request] will be fair and compensate me for the loss of 4 1/2 hours. Upon his return from NY, he was very happy with the floors ..... "excellent job, Mark" his words. When I asked him to be compensated for the extra time it took to remove his furniture, he got all upset and refused to be fair. Mark was very professional and realistic about what could be done with my floor for a fair price. He was able to schedule his crew on very short notice and they did the job correctly. I don't need to write fake compliments about this company. The did the job right...period. Of course I will recommend them to anyone who needs their hardwood floors done.

I hired a guy to refinish my floors, it was a nightmare: his foot marks were in it, there were scratches and inconsistencies throughout... the gloss didn't dry properly (you could see the roller marks). Marc came in and resanded properly, restained, fixed scratches (no charge) and it looks absolutely amazing. His rates are very fair for this quality of work. It's like a brand new floor. I'm blown away. Great work, he saved my butt from the mistake of hiring for cheap cheap cheap. Lesson learned. Hire this company, I'm a referral.

We wanted the job done quick so we could move in. They measured on a Sunday when we called. Started the job next Wednesday. the quote was a bit higher than others but they had the experience and could start sooner and where done Thursday. I recommend Mark and his team.

I wish that Mark would not forget to give us the receipt that we have paid in full. Because we need it for our accounting balance the expense that we have used the money for our home improving project. Other than that issue, he had done a great a job and on time as he said
