Nelson Carpets

It was great! Mike Nelson showed up on time and cleaned up everything after he finished the job. Our kitchen is in an older home, walls were not squared, old baseboard not properly installed. To say the least it was a real challenge. We had previously asked another installer to give us a quote, he came out took measurements, told us all the problems this installation posed and that he would get back to us with a quote. In spite of repeated efforts to contact that guy he would not return calls, text, or email. Mike gave us an estimate and that is what we paid. On top of that he is also replacing a entry way strip in our hall where he is creating an oversized threshold piece and bringing back to install at no extra charge! Where do you find service like that in this day and age. I would be remiss in not speaking to Mike's four decades of experience (started out as a Union installer in the Bay area). He is very friendly but more important knows what he is doing and was able to overcome many obstacles with a kitchen that had unusual nooks and crannies. Truly one of the best experiences I have ever had with a Contractor of any profession. Thank you Mike! Frank Floyd
