I had other things I needed fixed that didn't depend on the water heater, such as a leak in the kitchen sink that necessutated turning the water off, a very bad and inconvenient situation in the kitchen, forcing me to haul water from the bathroom for a couple of weeks until I gave up and called another plumber who came out the next business day.  John Manning never returned my calls or texts.  Someone later told me that on one of those occasions he was out of town.  He had sent someone else to remove the water heater.  Didn't respond to my call requesting a bill either.  Got a new water heater installed by the new plumber, Pat Murphy Plumbing and Backhoe who is very reliable and responsive and will be my go-to plumber in the future.  He also moved a plumbing line to fit a new vanity.  I have still to hear a word from John Manning.

I had been looking for a water leak for a considerable amount of time. It was most frustrating because the leak was greater over night than during the day. I was able to isolate the leak to an approximately 100 foot section. After digging for 50 feet maybe, I found a leak which was now located under the porch. Having developed a claustrophobic issue I checked Angie's and found John. He was here the next day and fixed the leak. It was a crack in the PVC pipe which probably opened further with higher pressure at night. Unfortunately that was only 1/2 the problem. We still used half again as much that night. I dug further and found another wet spot. John came out again. We discussed repair verses replace and also installing a pressure regulator at the meter. I decided to just fix this leak. If we have any further problems, we will replace. The next morning I was greeted with a major break in the line losing 10,000 gallons of water. Needless to say, I had John back to install a regulator and hang a new water line under the porch to the house. Job well done!

John was great.

DEER RAN OVER A WATER LINE MARKER AND BROKE THE PIPE, WATER WAS GUSHING EVERYWHERE, I CALLED JOHN MANNING AND HE WAS HERE WITHIN THIRTY MINUTES AND IT WAS EARLY ON A SATURDAY MORNING
HE REPAIRED THE PIPE. I HAVE ALSO USED JOHN TO INSTALL SINKS AND TOILETS IN MY HOUSE. HE IS EFFICIENT AND HONEST AND HAS HIGH STANDARDS FOR A YOUNG MAN.
