He did the report and provided what we thought was a complete report. A couple months after they moved in they cut down a small bush hedge in front of their living room window. A smaller hedge less than 4 feet tall as it didn't block the window. When they did they found wood rot on the window sill as well as a lot of water damage to the walls. There were areas where the chicken wire was showing as well as wood framing. I understand there may be areas where an inspector cannot get to however this was easily accessible and just took a little effort to look behind the bushes and around each window sill. It is apparent this was not done and now is a costly repair. If this would have been found prior they would have had the owners repair it in their counter or lowered their offer to make up for these costs. Don't know if this is typical of their effort but I would not recommend or use somebody that misses a large exterior wall that has major damage. When contacted he initially said he would come out and discuss but has since not returned calls. We are sending this to the Realtor and Loan folks who recommended him so they can decide if this is what they want for their customers.
