David Odle General Contracting

David made an excellent first impression. He was on time for his estimate and it became immediately apparent that he was honest, intelligent and an easy going spirit. He had lots of ideas, suggested his favorite materials and was quick with his estimate (given the same day via phone). The estimate was based on our providing all of the materials. David offered to purchase the materials for us at his cost but we wanted to use our warehouse credit line and take advantage of deferred billing offered at no additional cost. Throughout the job David arrived on time and ready for work. He was the neatest contractor we have ever hired with his work areas completely cleaned up at the end of each day. He even had a HEPA filter in his shop vac to reduce dust to a minimum. We had asked that one bath be completed prior to demolition on the other and that all of the work be finished in 3 weeks. David kept to this schedule and both bathrooms were done on time and with results that exceeded expectations (see photos). During the construction period David did not have another job in process and gave us his undivided attention. He had a trailer that he pulled behind his pickup that he used to haul away debris as well as to safely transport the tubs, granite countertops, toilets and other oversize materials we had ordered but were too large for our cars. He always showed up on time at the warehouse and only charged us a nominal amount for his related gasoline expenses. To complete the contract David only employed two subcontractors, both journeymen. One did the tile work while the other completed the special drywall finishes we had requested. Both subs produced results that exceeded our expectations and neither filed a Preliminary Notice on our property. I look forward to calling on David again in the future for any home improvement needs beyond my typical homeowner/handyman capabilities. His honesty, work ethic, quality of work, pricing, willingness to please and sheer likeability are second to none.
