The company owner and his two employees arrived a half hour early. They assessed the need for a new 220 volt connection checking the main circuit breaker and the existing wiring in the kitchen. They checked the entire gas line to determine where best to cap it. Determined the new electric stove top was slightly larger than the old gas and might require some cutting of the counter. This was completed in about a half hour after which they began the job. One did the electric work, pulling out a built in oven to locate a local terminal and prepping the necessary wiring. Another turned off the gas to the house and worked on capping the gas. The third removed the gas stove top and inserted the electric. The wiring was completed, the stove top tested and the built in oven replaced. I was shown where the gas pipe was capped and that it was leak free. They relighted the gas water heater, vacuumed ALL of the dust and debris and replaced all of the counter drawers they had to remove to get under the counter top. The were done in less than 2 hours.
