Joe did an excellent job.  He showed me some extra dry rot that needed to be taken care of while he was there. It was around the side of the house where I hadn't looked.  He took it out and showed me the quality of the wood and what was happening.  He didn't just repair and replace the rotted wood, but also looked to see what was causing it.  He found that above the door frame, where the rain gutter butted up against the house, had not been caulked and sealed properly.   He took care of that to prevent any more damage occurring.  He was very neat and cleaned up the area before he left.
Joe has many years of experience.  He spent 18 years in the construction business as a union member working on houses.  He has another 15 or more years of general contracting and also has quite a bit of experience in doing cement work.  I would definitely recommend him for any work you have around the house - from small jobs to remodeling.  Excellent general contractor - doesn't just do the job, but does the best job to be done.
