Ashorn Construction Inc

I needed a glassed-in entry foyer repaired, and Ashorn Construction was recommended to me by Cal Glass. Dave from Ashorn came to the house, took measurements and assured me they knew just what to do and would have an estimate to me within 24 hours. I never heard from him again. I've called back six times, speaking to a real human three times and leaving messages the other times. Each person assured me they'd get an answer for me, but nothing would happen and no one would call. I'm OK if they don't want to do the work, though it's a pretty straightforward job and I can't imagine turning it down. What I don't understand is the refusal to tell me what they have decided or what's going on. Why not tell me, "we're going to decline the work", in which case I could have moved on to find another contractor? Ashorn Construction seems not to need business, or to communicate with customers. Return the favor -- stay away and don't call.
