I never received a call. So I waited a couple for days and called again. SAME story. I started calling everyday, and kept getting the same story, but a technician never returned my call. I asked to speak to the manager, and they said he was out, but his name was Josh and he would be in the next day.
The next day I called, what do you know, but he was not available.
I called the insurance company reporting that this was just not working with this company, and we were so uncomfortable. The insurance company told me they had just received a call from Payless the day before requesting authorization for the part and that we would need to pay $180 for modifications. We actually have to approve the $180 fee before the part can even be ordered. I am fine with the fee, that is not the problem. The part has NEVER even been ordered, despite every time I called they told me that it had already been approved and ordered. That means that every time I called I had been LIED to.
I said then that even if the parts came to them I had no confidence in them doing the work.
The insurance company gave me a new company to work with. They came right out, I found out the longest wait for the parts even when getting approval etc. with the insurance is 3 business days. They assessed the problem, called the insurance the same day, part ordered and were back in 2 day. Done and done in 3 days total.
Payless...7 weeks and never even ordered the part, plus we melted in the meantime.
