Loan Connectors

I was referred to Loan Connectors by a friend who had used them. I dealt with Linda, who was always friendly and patient. I chose to use them over another broker I spoke to (at a different company) based mostly on her pleasant and patient demeanor. Our loan funded on time, but there was one error in closing: Linda had us down for paying $3,000 more in a down payment than we had said we would. As we had the money, we went ahead and paid it and closed anyway. Nothing else was amiss until 2008, when our second mortgage adjusted. Apparently, it only had a 2 year fixed period, and not a 10 year, as we had been told. Though I admit that this is ultimately our fault, as we should have scrutinized our paperwork more closely, I also feel we should have been told the truth about the fixed period of that loan. I don't know whether this was deliberate untruth or a mistake; I do believe the down payment issue was a genuine mistake. In summary, I would say Loan Connectors was very nice to me and patient as well, but if you choose to get a loan through them, scrutinize every document under a microscope to make sure you're getting what they say you're getting, and also to make sure they haven't made any errors.
