Jose Gaviria Hardwood Floors

Overall project went great. The crew was on time every day, worked very fast and very efficient and seemed to be priced fairly. No real surprises anything unexpected was explained beforehand. I did the initial demo and haul away of all existing flooring materials myself, they did all the prep and installation of hardwood. I bought all wood on my own and purchased all the glue thru Jose and therefor pretty much just paid for installation services. (approx $4.00 s/f ... Total of 2000 s/f including stairs and exposed side of upstairs walkway.

They did an outstanding job, including a difficult boarder insert which we wanted. They had a fabulous crew, who was very professional. They were very neat, and organized. Because of the boarder, one or two boards was slightly above the surface. They returned the next week to fix that, which was great. I have nothing but praise for the integrity and sincerity of this company.

He was very straighforward and very helpful in determining what it was I needed considering the type of flooring in another room. He was very prompt. His price was good. I had another quote about a $1000 higher. He had no problem with me ordering hardwood somewhere else. He was just very good to deal with. He was very prompt and courteous. The work was beautiful.

11/25/2012 Jose Gaviria came over to my 2 bdrm/2 ba 1100 sq. ft condo to assess replacing the existing 3/4'' quarter-round iwith 1/2'' (smaller) size to improve appearance of the laminated hardwood floor to wall joints.  I also asked him to give me an estimate to replace existing carpet in the two 20 sq. ft. closets in the master bedroom bathroom.  He returned on 12/3/2012 to do the work.  The smaller quarter-round looks great and the two closets also look great with the laminated hardwood floor in them.  Workmanship was very good and and he was able to finish the work on the same day he came in.  Total cost was $627.00.  He also did a good job cleaning up the work area so I did not have to do any cleanup.

I had several other estimates before I settled on Jose's company.  Not only did he come in lower, I was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge.  He also suggested some other options to get the price down lower.  He always returned calls right away, and showed up on time.  His crew was also very nice and they did I great job.  After the job, I noticed that there was one board that was a bit lower than the rest (likely a manufacturer error) and he agreed to send one of his guys out to correct it for free.  He did an amazing job.

Jose came for an estimate on Wednesday, and installed the floor on Friday.

Jose did a wonderful job and I would recommend his service to my friends anytime. He is a very professional worker and had a lot of patience with every detail.

The job was fast; one and one half days. Jo is a great guy! He was extremely helpful, patient, always available for my many questions and concerns. He and his team arrived on time. We chatted and he left while his team worked through the day. They returned the next afternoon and finished the job. We are very happy with the results. We were originally going to go with laminate floors. Jo helped me realize that wood would be a very good choice. He did not say anything negative about laminate, however his response to me when I told him I was thinking about going with wood sold me on him. He is very knowledgeable and has been installing all kinds of flooring for many years. He is very amicable, easy to talk to about your concerns and always ready to answer any questions. Great work, fast and friendly.
