Oak Animal Hospital

This was an emergency appt, and Oak Animal Hospital is not my usual vet. They got me in two hours after I called. Dr Anderson saw my dog and she was fantastic. Very informative. She performed an exam, blood tests, gave a vaccination, and treated what was found to be an infection. She gave an injection of antibiotics, a course of pills to take for a couple weeks, and also pain pills. Very reasonable cost at $199 for all that. Way less than I would have paid my usual vet. I was very thankful they helped me on such short notice. I recommend this vet facility and Dr Anderson.

The meds didn't help and had to take the dog back.  A second visit and additional round of meds was of limited help as well, but possibly it required treatment by a doggie opthamologist and I didn't take the dog there.  The eye eventually got better.

I have been taking my dog Jasper to Dr. Anderson since I got him in February. She has a quiet calm nature and her caring and tenderness toward animals is very apparent. At this visit she removed the old dressings, cleaned the wounds and then showed me how they were healing . This is my first dog and he is a very fearful dog. Her patience and willingness to help me learn to care for him has been amazing. Her advice has been invaluable as Jasper and I settle in with one another.

I had a really good experience with them. I have used them for many years and they have always been great. They are really loving, caring, compassionate and if you need to bring your pet in right away, they accommodate you. When my pet died they even sent a sympathy card. Everybody in there is really great. The staff friendliness and office environment is great, and they treat the animals well.
