Monarch was fantastic. They showed up on time to give an estimate, where other companies failed to show up or were too busy. The team arrived as scheduled, and to my amazement, completed the job in a few hours. Super professional and cleaned up everything before leaving.

I hired this company before and I hired them again because I really trust the owner and the staff. Mr Rice is an honest man and he provides great service at competitive prices. Year 2015-2016 were predicted to be an El-Nino weather with lots of rain. My Ash tree and Walnut tree needed a heavy trim so it won't fall down on my neighbor's house during the storms. I also had them do a partial trim on a Mulberry tree that my neighbor complained about.

Four men came to my house. Two were the lead workers that cuts the tree and two men were helpers who take the branches away from the tree. All of them were professional and friendly too. They made small conversations with me but stayed focused on their job. The lead workers wore harnesses to protect themselves from a fall. In one day, they trimmed my trees that looked professionally done. They cut the trees in a way that encourages regrowth of the leaves that looks natural and beautiful for the upcoming spring season.

Arrived on time ready to work. Chipper Truck, Lift Truck and big stump grinder. Work was well coordinated, quick and efficient.. . Have already recommended them to two of my neighbors and are planning on using them again. Very competitive price for the service rendered. 

Monarch Tree showed up on time and completed the job in a fast professional way.  The price was very reasonable and I would use them again for sure.  The bid for the job was well below other bids.

We had an oak tree and branches of another oak tree that had grown into the canopy of a liquid amber tree that is central to our front yard landscaping.  Unfortunately, we had let the oaks go too many years before having a specialist come to see them and to make recommendations on how to correct the problem.  After consulitng the BBB and Angies List, we chose Monarch Tree Service, from Vacaville (Equues Street) to do the job.  The initial job was to remove the oak tree and branches from the other oak tree.  Terry told us to wait to see how the liquid amber what would grow when the leaves were coming on.  When the leaves did bloom on the liquid amber, it was apparent that the tree had been permanently damaged on one side.  Terry brought his crew to our home again and they did a major trim on the liquid amber to try to balance the appearance of the tree.  It will never return to its original "glory" but has now been thinned and trimmed so as not to make the damage so apparent.

I felt that the specialist, Terry, was professional in all he said and recommended to us.  His staff was equally professional, hard working and skilled. We were tremendously happy with the results.

I called in the morning and the arborist came in the afternoon to give a price.  The office called the next day to schedule the job for the next week, as I had requested.  The crew arrived on time, felled the tree (exactly on target) and cleaned up afterward.  The stump was then removed.  The whole job took 2 hours and was done totally professionally.  The crew even expressed concern for dust and noise annoying the neighbors.   My yard actually looked better after they left than before they arrived.  It was amazing to watch how deftly they maneuvered their large trucks into my small yard.  I would recommend Monarch Tree Service to anyone who needs a dead tree removed.

They came to my house on time. There were four men doing the job. One man climbed up my tree and the owner on the ground overlooking the prunning. The owner was telling his worker what branches to cut and he was especially acute to look for any dangers while he was on the tree. The man on the tree was very professional. He had mountain climbing gear and he used it to safely work on the tree as he was carefully cutting branches with his chain saw. I was impressed by their work and especially their saftey standards. The other two men cut the palm tree and took all the branches to their truck where they used their wood chipper. They cleaned up after themselves. They swept and used a blower to clean around the house where they made a mess. Everyone was courteous and professional. The work took about three hours.

We called Monarch to give us an estimate to trim two trees. While they were here, we asked them to look at two additional trees. One didn?t need any work, the other needed more work than the trees we?d called about. They provided a written estimate describing the scope of the work. By signing the estimate it became a contract. I was able to scan it and email it to Monarch (a plus for us because we don?t have a FAX). Once they received the contract, we were put in their schedule. We were happy with how soon they were able to get the work done. The crew was professional and hard working. They moved quickly through the trees, mindful of the other landscaping, and did a thorough job of cleaning up the area when they left. Note ? the Angie?s List webpage says Monarch Tree Service takes credit cards. They do not, but as they told me, they do take cash or check. They are a licensed contractor (#444311).

I chose Monarch Tree Services because of their reputation. They are in this business for a very, very, long time and they are the most highly profitable business in the area of tree service (My research shows that the family business profits anually from $500,000-$1,000,000 in recent years). The owner comes personally to make the assessment and gives an estimate. The crew are very professional and knows what they are doing. They made a hard, complicated, and dangerous job of cuting around electrical power lines simple and safe. They cleaned up after themselves and everyone was very friendly and professional. What most impressed me was their willing to work around my schedule. I am a busy man and time off from work is money lost. They done everything on the same day I got an estimate and they done it fast within one hour. Wow. They made me happy.

The owner came promptly on appointment and gave a bid. When the contract was signed, the professional crew came at the appointed hour, got quickly to work, and efficiently removed many branches, some very large. They were skilled at their job and finished, cleaned up and removed the debris and stacked the logs.

THIS COMPANY IS VERY RESPONSIVE. THEY DO GOOD WORK. THEY ARE A WELL KNOWN COMPANY IN THIS AREA. THEY WERE VERY REASONABLE. THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WILL RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

I THINK THIS IS A FIRST CLASS COMPANY. ALSO, IT IS A RELIABLE COMPANY. I HAVE THEM DO OTHER JOBS FOR ME ALSO. I THOUGHT EVERYTHING WITH THEM WAS OKAY.
