I hired Jason to upgrade my front yard landscape by removing weeds, level ground, add soil, irrigation, plants, mulch and rock. Jason was a constant no show. He would tell me he would be over and never call, text or email to tell me he was not able to make it. He attempted to level the ground, installed the rock, and planted 6 plants. I had to keep asking him when he would put in the irrigation. He always said he would be over to install it. He NEVER installed the irrigation so my new plants died. I had to hire another landscape company to fix what he did and complete the installation. My yard is beautiful now!

Sunday came and no one showed up.  Monday came and his father came to look at our backyard.  He left and never came back.  Wednesday came and his father started on the fence.  Thursday came and the sod company came to deliver the sod and wanted us to pay for it so we did.  We found out it was already paid for.  The owner, Jason Traylor went and picked up our money and never returned it to us.  Thursday afternoon, a kid showed up and layed the sod right over our hard dirt.  No rototilling, top soil or grading the dirt .  My fiancee called me and I came home.  We made him roll back up the sod.  Jason's father came to help the young man.  They put down a couple bags of top soil and began to lay it down again with no rototlling or grading.  They said it would be fine...I got tired of arguing so they got their way.  The sprinkler system was going to be put in after the fact.  We didn't want the sprinklers in the grass.  We wanted the sprinklers on the edge near the mow strip that they were also going to lay out of pavers.  No one but Jason's father was showing up for a couple hours here and there to make an effort at finishing the job.  Friday came and no one came.  Saturday came and no one showed up.  Sunday I began calling Jason but he never answered the phone.  Would only talk to us through texting.  His father text me and said he had to go to the emergency room on Friday for gall stones, Saturday emergency room with his wife, and now Sunday because he has a colon issue.  His son, Jason texts us back saying his dad was ill and they wouldn't be coming out and it would be a while before they could come and finish the job.  We had cut concrete for the sprinkler systems that were still not done.  They did the mow strip completely wrong.  They made a wall around the grass instead of putting the pavers in the dirt level to the grass.  We had to pull them all up and they were going to fix that also when they did the sprinkler system.  This has been a night mare.  They received 3/4 of our money but did not do nearly the work.  We asked for the money we paid for the sod and they do not feel they owe us any money.  This has been a horrible experience....We now have to hire another company to finish what they started....I would never recommend this company....Jason is a very bad communicator and doesn't like talking on the phone.  He would only text and argued with my fiancee about the entire project. I didn't do my homework but if I had I would have seen some of the reviews from other clients on the internet that had the same horror stories to tell about Green Thumb Barbers.....

They were very fast in giving us the quote and working with on us as far as what we wanted to do.  They did everything as said, like we wanted, as far as cleanup and picking up the trimmings after the job.  They were good and did a really good job.  They went above and beyond and cleaned the gutters when they didn't have to.  They showed up on time.
