B & K Contractors

I don't know where is the other good reviews came from...this contractor is below ethical and quality standards to even grade him... Did a big and costly mistake by hiring them.

Good reviews from Angie's lists...?!?! Wondering where is that came from. Anyway never ever pay a contractor up front for the job !!!!! My big mistake....contractor was asking me for a favor and I helped him....it took 20 days ti finish a job which was actually 4 days from it. $ 4800 and 3 weeks later of "completion". I'm fixing the wooden fence and the gate...the cement work isn't up to standard.

Fantastic!!! The workers would say otherwise. They worked their butts off. Lost a 30' portion of fence in a wind storm. Ken came out, reviewed the damage and submitted a bid. He was the lowest of two bids by several hundred dollars. After removing the fence, the two workers discovered a foundation under the fence line and needed  a jackhammer for the post holes. They worked almost 11 hours to set the posts in concrete. The next day a different two workers came to build the fence. Fence looks great, is solid, and will last a long time. The workers also took great concern not to disturb the stability of the adjacent neighbors' fences. They also made sure the work site was clean and swept. There is a flower bed running parallel to the fence and no damage incurred to the bed. In the spring, I will hire this company again to do some work on the front fences. Very pleased with this company because they are local (Vacaville), small business, and I found them on Angie's list.

Awesome finish, Preparation was key with the contractor. 50' from the sidewalk to the edge of house, 4' past fence gate.
About 4 yards of base rock was installed, over 8-1/2 yards of concrete poured, with a broom finish on the completed concrete. 
Actual pour width was 9'-9" x 50'.
Recommended by contractor to wait a full month to park the RV on concrete, wait for the concrete to cure completely.
Concrete finish is very good, well built. Recommend and will use them again.

I found B&K Contractors through Angie's list.  I called Kevin in the morning and he was very prompt in coming to my house and giving me a clear explanation and estimation of the work that needed to be done. The next day, he and his work crew arrived at 8 a.m. and  began replacing rotted-out redwood posts and rebuilding the other fence boards -- the work was done quickly and they left no debris in the back yard when the work was done. Kevin is genuinely concerned about the reputation of his company and it was such a joy to work with him. I give him and B&K Contractors a big two thumbs up.

They showed up on time and did quality work. They found 2 unusable fence boards and went and bought 2 new boards and came back to install them and that  was not in the estimate and they did not charge me any extra.  They only used coated screws to put everything back together ( not nails) and the even straighten up the beauty bark when they were done.  I had estimates for much much more and they used nails  and I don't believe they could have done a better job. When I have more fence work to be done I will be calling B&K back!

It's a mom and pop organization, with a son and father doing the work. They also bring in more people. He has been in business for years. This guy's a real professional. It was an excellent experience.
