On time on a very hot day. The crew got started immediately and was finished within two and a half hours.  I can now see through my front windows and if it ever rains in the winter, the rain just may get to the lawn. The second tree could have been pruned a little more, but I can handle it.  Clean up was done well, although I did find a couple of cuttings left behind.  A few more have been added, but the wind is blowing them out of the tree.

Crew was very professional and worked together like a well oiled team.  Great to see!  Will definitely call again. This is the third time I've called Tom in the last five years.

Tom's crew was right on time to start the job and worked steadily until it was done. I was shocked at how quickly they were able to remove that tree! They left the back yard cleaned up and took great care not to damage any existing plants. I got three estimates the first time I had Tom Day work on my trees, and he was by far the most reasonable. His crew is composed of well trained and polite guys. I couldn't be more pleased with his service. This is the second big job he has done at my house, and I would happily hire him again if I needed this kind of work done.

The workers for Tom Day Tree Services came promptly on the day and time they said they would, had the proper equipment to do the job, went right to work removing a tree and its stump, and finished the job and cleaned up everything within an hour.  I was very pleased with everything and would hire them again for other tree jobs in the future.

Great service!!!! The crew came showed up on time (early, even!!) and started work immediately.  They were there and gone within two hours and left little trace of there having been trees in our backyard.

Tom came and gave us an estimate and he and his guys arrived exactly when he said they would. They worked here about three hours and cleaned up the mess perfectly. I would use Tom Day Tree Service again, even if he didn't have to pay extra to have his listing first on Angie's List.

The Lemon Tree was so overgrown, with tall branches that were shooting up in the air by 10-12 feet and now bending over to the breaking point, loaded with fruit.  Tom's crew trimmed it back to a very nice looking acceptable size tree.  Doesn't look like the same tree and of course I wish it would stay that way.  They also removed a small Palm Tree that was trying to take the place of a succulent that had been there for decades.
I have to say that the crew is just the best, along with Tom, of course.  They are personable, know what they are doing and do it carefully, clean everything up, and I wish they were also a gardening service, they are that good.  This is the second time I've had Tom Day Tree Service and when they show up, get out the band for all of the crew and their equipment.  I frankly don't know how anyone working in the heat, dirt, and whatever else they encounter, can stay so cheery, positive, and do an excellent job.
Got my Angie's List discount in the form of a $25 coupon and yes they will be back, when the next tree needs them.

Very pleased with the results. Tom's crew did an excellent job with the trees and hedge. The cleaned up to my satisfaction and were prompt and friendly. I would definitely recommend them.

Mr. Day's crew did a wonderful job. Mr. Day came right out the day after we called to give us an estimate.  He was able to schedule the work immediately.  The workers arrived promptly and removed the overgrown shrubbery and overgrown plants.  The work crew were friendly and courteous.  I highly recommend Tom Day Tree Service.

We found them through Angie's List, and they came out and did a good job for us.  My wife dealt with him mainly.

They sent out two guys, they were both very nice.  Both trees were leaning up against the block wall between our yards, on the other side was my neighbor's barbecue and some terracotta roofing tiles.  Since my neighbor was out of town I suggested we move the items on his side of the wall.  The tree sections that were being cut needed to go on my neighbor's side of the wall anyway because he has a large cement patio where they would need to cut the sections down into firewood.  The gentlemen from the tree service stated the tile would be fine, they would just move the barbecue.

They were doing very well until the very last part of heavy trunk.  When that section went over the wall it landed on the tiles, breaking all of them.  The workers were very nice about it.  They advised I call their boss and make sure everything was straightened out.  They asked for a check at the time, but I said I would be more comfortable if I spoke with neighbor before making payment.  They were accommodating, and the owner, Tom, said he would wait until the neighbor came back, and make things right.

About a month later, my neighbor returned from vacation, and Tom Day worked very hard to match the tile that was destroyed when the tree came down.  Because of the diligence after the accident, everything wound up being positively resolved.  The owner Tom was calm and professional throughout the process.  He did just what one would expect a professional to do in that situation.  I would be happy to hire them again.

Wanted to avoid illegitimate operators that were unlicensed or uninsured.  Tom Day Tree Service is a professional operation.   They are competent, responsive and legit.   Consider Tom Day for worry free work.

From start to finish, a hassle-free, professional job.  I rec'd a very prompt call-back from Tom Day about setting up an estimate, which was performed the next day.  Tom Day called me the night before to confirm about when they would be at my home, and the crew actually showed up a bit earlier, which was great.  The six-man crew (with LOTS of  equipment) worked very efficiently together, and just zoomed through all the work in about 45 minutes, including cleanup, and solving the logistics  of grinding a hard-to-access stump in a planter.  They were very nice and polite, and I would definitely hire them again in the future!

Tom and his crew showed up at the time scheduled.  He had called the night before and the morning of to confirm that we would be there and that they were on the way.   Tom showed up with the crew and I asked if they would preform an additional service to replace some privets where the others were being cut down and their roots ground up.  Although this is work they normally do Tom was agreeable.  Tom also provide helpful suggestions about planting and location that saved money and improved sight lines and the opportunity to expand the beds.  I thought the estimate was extremely fair I immediately accepted,  I also asked for an estimate to cut out some dead branches in the seven trees in our front yards again the price was very reasonable less than I anticipated, I accepted on the spot.   The hill side was cleared as planned.  Tom shared feedback from a neighbor that I was unaware off and I adjusted my plan to meet those expectations.  The privets planted and the trees trimmed.   I was surprised how much was removed for the amount charged but the pruning made the trees look GREAT!   To say the least the service was exceptional and the price more than fair.  I plan on having Tom and his crew return in the fall after leaf drop to trim all my trees.

I have lived at this property for 35 years.   I had plented too many trees and a living privit hedge that enclosed three sides of the property.  We had one side of the privet hedge removed at ground level.  Tom was hired based on positive reviews and very reasonable price comparison to come in and remove three overgrown mature multiple trunk Pepper Trees that were as tall as our two story house.and grind out their roots and the privet roots.   I was so impressed by both the price and the quality of work that I asked Tom if he would offer another estimate to clear out several fruit trees and a small pepper tree on the back slope of our property.  I found the offer so reasonable I accepted on the spot without seeking comparisions.   I have had trees and shrubs removed before at this house and another I owned and this was the most reasonable cost and the highest quality work. Tom showed up on time to give the original estimate. Tom showed up with his crew to direct the operation before leaving but he returned later to check on progress and at its conclusion.   I asked Tom if he would recommend some ornamental trees that would do well in the area and he brought out a book to show several that he would recommend.  I asked if he could secure 15 gallon specimens for me and put them in the ground.  As they finished the expanded assignment on day 2 he arrived with three superb 15 gallon specifimens and had his crew put them in the gournd and construct wells and stake the trees.  I was given specific instructions on their care.  I found the price less per tree less than I had been quoted for inferior specimens and Tom's price included selection, delivery, planting and staking.  I was so pleased with his work that I sought an estimate and scheduled work at a later date.

They did a great job.  They arrived as scheduled and cut down the trees quickly and safely.  The area was cleaned up well upon completion.  I would recommend Tom to anyone requiring tree trimming or removal.

Tom was very, very nice and he called me back the same day that I left a message for him.  He came out when I was there, looked at what I wanted done, and gave me a price.  He gave me an option because I had asked him what the price difference would be if I got a cleanup.  I had sixteen Italian cypress trees that needed to be topped, so I asked him for a quote and he was the only one who gave me a different quote for that and doing it that way was a lot cheaper for me.  Then we made an appointment at three O clock and they had to come through my neighbor’s house because they had an easier access so I waited for him there.  At five up to three, I called him to let him know that I was waiting at my neighbor’s site and at 3.30 pm, I called again because nobody was there.  Then he called me and told me that he would call me back and let me know in half an hour if the guys will be able to come out or not because they were on another job.  It was going to get dark at five and they had to do the cleanup, it was okay for a house on the east side but the house on the south side had kids in the swimming pool and I couldn't do that.  He called me back at four and told me that they will not be out that day, so I was really disappointed because my neighbors had wanted me to cut my cypresses.  Tom told me he could do it the next morning, but I was not sure because my neighbor had to take her kids to school and 8 O' clock in the morning was not going to be a good time.  I got a hold of my husband and he said that afternoon would be good, I told Tom, and he was fine with that, so his crew came out just about right on time, the next day.  My neighbor said that these things happen if they get extra trees to top unless I was the first job they were on, so it was all right.  The crew was great, they came out in two trucks, and the guys were great; I couldn't ask for a better team of guys.  They asked me how much I wanted topped down, asked me where the trees were, and got to work.  They were real fast and chopped it up in nice, neat piles for me.  They did the back and they were real fast there, so they were great.  Sometimes things don’t go as planned, it was their first time, and they said they were delayed because they had more trees to cut, so it was okay, things happen.  I was extremely happy with the crew.  I have more cypresses to top and I will use them again.  In fact, they are the only ones I would use in the future because they were great and I recommended them to my neighbor.  I had several companies that looked at the job but I wanted to use these guys.
