John received his Plant Science Degree from Cal Poly Pomona in 2016. Since then he’s been passionately working in almost every aspect of landscaping from building fruit and vegetable gardens for friends and family, developing ecosystems to control plant pests, to planting and caring for trees with the oldest environmental non-profit in California, TreePeople. He believes that beautiful outdoor environments help us connect and foster a sense of community, and he strives to make this experience accessible to everyone. Nash is a numbers guy, working in data analytics for the last 6+ years at tech companies like Square and DoorDash before partnering with John to handle the business side of things at Spade. He loves the ability through Spade to make a difference in the community as well as exercise his analytical/problem-solving skills through the various challenges a family-run business brings. Together we are a small but mighty team.
