Rancho Rain Gutters

We wanted rain gutters installed across the front of our house. After an extremely high estimate from the Depot and a nonestimate from Lowe's, we called Rancho. Their estimator was on time, made helpful suggestions, provided a sample and gave us a fair price. They told us that installations were about 8 weeks out but we were fine with that. On the appointed day and time, they showed up and provided the work without the slightest problem. They cleaned up and were out of here in 3 hours. I would use them again and would heartily recommend them.

The estimator came out and he was right on time. When I decided to go ahead and do the work they came in a timely manner. They were neat and cleaned up behind themselves. Everything was just good.

Ron, the estimator, spent a lot of time with us walking around the house designing where the gutters and downspouts should go for best coverage.  The installation team was very professional and hard working.  They really seemed to know their business.  The color match is perfect and we are very happy with the final result.  It looks great and now we only have to hope for rain!

The Estimator arrived promptly and was extremely professional. All requests for updates were answered promptly, call were returned promptly. Installation was somewhat delayed because everyone here is preparing for El Niño and their schedule was booked for about 6 weeks. We waited and we are very glad we did because the installers were the best! They encountered some unexpected difficulties and had to alter the installation plan. They had to reinforce the mounting locations at the barn with 4x4's. They did a beautiful job and never even suggested a price increase from the original quote! The work was clean, they left no debris, and I would highly recommend these folks.

Rancho Rain Gutters was not the least expensive quote we received but we went with them because we were impressed with the solutions they proposed for some of the tricky features of our roof line and because our second choice (Masco) was unwilling to tie the downspouts into our existing drainage system in the back yard because of the lattice patio cover.  Rancho took a while to schedule our job, but they showed up on the scheduled date.  The workers were very efficient and friendly.  Louis demonstrated great skill as he had to custom fabricate several elbows to fit some of the roof line features.  The other contractors who quoted the job were going to "simplify" the gutter in these areas - I can only imagine how tacky that would have looked.  The job took a little more than one day - probably due to all the custom fabrication - but they returned the following morning and finished the job.  I am extremely pleased with the appearance of our new rain gutters and am anxious to see how they perform when it rains.  I would recommend Rancho Rain Gutters - in fact, I already have to some of my co-workers.

Very professional crew, came out and made the rain gutters on site. I picked the colors to match the existing trim and house color, and the colors matched perfectly.

quotation process was way more difficult than it had to  be.... install date was delayed and we had to talk to the owners to be clear on what was in/out of the quote but the guys that came out and installed did a good job... they even kept it from raining hard this winter so it was tough to rate how well the gutters worked until now ;)

The colors matched the facia board paint and stucco color. They never need painting and are alumnium seamless construction.

I wasn't sure about what colors to pick, the owner, Mike took the time to help me with the choice. He also did a very clear and detailed bid. When the crew showed up they were very polite, professional and clean (in appearance and workmanship). They knew exactly what they were doing, came completely prepared and on time. After the job was done, Louis the head installer, walked me around the house, explained what they did and asked if everything met my approval. I was very happy with the job. They left no mess and even cleaned out one of my landscape drains the downspout tied into. (I told them i would do it but never got to it). All in all a excellent job I have already referred them to my brother who lives up the street.

They provided a fair estimate quickly. I called during their busy season, but we set a job date that fit both of our schedules. Due to the holiday, there was a small scheduling snafu, but this was clarified and I was rescheduled after I called the office. They then did the job as expected. Quality seems good and the gutters appear well secured - meeting all the objectives that I had wanted.

They did an excellent job. They did exactly what they told me they would do and did it in a timely manner. The just charged me the minimum price.

. Wow, I thought we seemed to communicate really well, wrong! I had to call and email about the bid several times to clairify some important issues. Then the work starts. Well just about every thing went wrong from almost the beginning. They took down a gutter that they were supossed to leave. They then acted like they were doing me a favor by replacing it with a patched gutter from a previous job. They cleaned the valleys with claw hammers and leaf blowers, then never swept or hosed the remaining the remaing dirt out of the valleys. They swept the driveway but did not rake or clean up the debris where ever there was leaf litter on the ground, most of the area. The gutters and down spouts were cleaned poorly leaving quite of bit of litter/debris. They never flushed the down spouts, some two stories tall. I hired them because they were clogged. How could I be sure that they were free flowing if they never tested them. They forgot to bring supplies to install a two story down spout which I thought was part of the bidded job but they denied. I agreed to pay more to get it done. That cost almost $ 200.00 more. That was done while I was not home and it was not installed plumb. I had to call twice to get them to get them to do this last act of poor craftsmanship. On to tile replacement, we the CEO and I estimated that about four to six tiles needed to be replaced. So I supplied eight to the foreman. These are expensive old historic roof tiles. Then later after the cleaning was almost done I was told that he needed eight more tiles. (?) Did he break more? I'll never know, because I wasn't present. I supplied the eight more tiles. So i asked him to leave me all broken pieces of the tiles that he replaced. He did not honor my request and took almost all broken tiles with him. I asked him to leave me any tiles to see how many were freshly broken and to epoxy glue any for future use due to there expense.

It went very well. The salesman was efficient and friendly. The techs were efficient and they cleaned up, well, after themselves. The only issue I had with Rancho Rain Gutters was that they advertised "uniformed" service staff (a motto printed on the side of their truck). That implied a high level of professionalism that I desired. When the techs arrived, they were in their own t shirts and shorts. When I asked the tech, he said they haven't had uniforms for years.

The two installers showed up as scheduled and worked through the day doing the installation.  They left no messes to clean up.  I had to order one additional rain chain due to the fact that the previous plan we made was not going to work out for the distribution of the water.  They even recommended the style of chain which would work out the best for the area it was being installed.  Once the chains were delivered they came two days later and installed the rain chains.  After changes were made, Ron, who wrote the initial  quote sent me a revised quote via e-mail immediately.  All was agreed up and now I am just waiting for it to rain!  Not likely to happen soon is it?!  The workers were friendly and helpful.  Glad I went with Rancho Rain Gutters for this job!
