We used them about 10 years ago and used them again. It took them six days. I would recommend them to others.

Moving can be a very stressful time in anyone's life. Especially, when the move is out of state. I picked Golden Eagle Moving Services in Upland, CA based on the high marks it had been given by subscribers of Angie's List.
I was not disappointed by my choice. The company is very professional from the front office staff, down to workers doing all the heavy lifting. The workers arrived on time and worked tirelessly. Even when difficulties arose, they adapted and got the job done quickly and efficiently. All the while exercising extreme care to my property, insuring that it did not receive even the slightest amount of damage.
David Camacho orchestrated the loading process and had his team working efficiently and effectively. Although young, he showed that he has a great talent for the moving business. His stamina and strength seemed to keep the loading process moving along at a very quick pace.
Truck driver, Delbert Longberry has 32 years of experience in the moving business and his expertise really showed during the move. This man overcame any and all obstacles that arose during entire process. 6 days after the loading, he drove the 18 wheeled van up Interstate 580 to Reno, NV. It was not an easy 500 mile trip, with winds howling at gale force. At times he had to reduce his speeds to only 25 mph. A lesser skilled trucker might have lost the entire load due to the wind. Upon reaching his destination, although very tired, he was able to assist and direct the unloading by 3 local workers hired by Golden Eagle. Delbert Longberry really went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to making our move a successful one. He is a credit to his profession and the Golden Eagle Moving Co.
In this day and age where you hear so many horror stories regarding moving companies, Bob Johnson and his Golden Eagle Moving Services was a breath of fresh air. A very professional company with top employees from top to bottom is one that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a local or long distance move!

The movers arrived about 10:00 a.m. and moved boxes and furniture.  They shrink wrapped the items and then loaded them on the truck.  It took them about an 1 hour to load the truck.  They then drove over the the storage unit and unloaded the furniture and boxes and neatly placed them into the storage unit.  They made sure that all of the furniture was covered and placed neatly into the storage unit.  I would highly recommended them.  The total time of the move was about 3 hours.

They offer competitive rates and have always been very timely.  They don't nickel and dime you like a lot of other services do, the rate they stated is the rate you pay.  I did not put a cost of service because I am using them tomorrow for my move to Washington.

Used this company prior to this move and tv and glass was broken.  I lagged on the claim and did not file.  Was in a pinch and had another company set up for my move and they were a no show.  Golden Eagle came to my rescue but there was a cost, stolen boxes and suitcases!!!  Very unprofessional, very whiny, could not stop complaining about everything!  Never, ever again!

Excellent service, both from the movers and from the back office folks.

Due to a number of unusual circumstances, we had to move several times over the past three years. We found Golden Eagle Movers online, and were sold by the expertise and "bedside manner" of their estimator, Doug. We've used them ever since. Their extraordinary customer service extends to their entire staff, from the service agent on the other end of the phone (ask for Stacy) to the guys who lift and tote and haul your stuff. They were utterly responsive and understanding to our changing dates for moving in; when escrow finally closed (late one afternoon) we were able to call right around 5pm and arrange delivery for early the next morning. They never missed a beat.
They may not be the cheapest movers in the state, but I wouldn't dream of letting another company touch my stuff. In four separate local moves, nothing was lost, nothing was stolen, and damage was limited to a couple of lightbulbs that had been stored loose in a drawer.

Art and Shaun arrived on time to complete my local but rather large moving job.  They started by surveying my specific moving situation and needs.  As they carefully loaded my furniture and belongings onto the truck they made note and brought to my attention the damages done by the previous loaders who set me up (pitifully) to move across country.   They shared ideas and possibilities to remediate that prior damage.  All throughout they were friendly and polite, keeping me involved in the process.  The unloading went as carefully and as efficiently.  Shaun and Art made good use of time, keeping my costs within expectation.  I will request them again the next time I move.

They were great! They came out and gave me a free estimate, and a discount because I was an Angie's List Member. The movers were courteous, on-time, and friendly. They were the same movers though out the entire process, and they did a good job moving my things. Specifically Jerry was great during the post-move house cleaning. I had no problems with them at all.

They showed little to no respect for my things.  They did not wrap furniture before loading it so I have several pieces that are damaged and scratched.  They did not protect my bed so it's now filthy and somehow bent from box's and dirt from the truck.  The box's were not placed in any order throughout the garage making it  very difficult to unpack and find anything.   I'm sure they have teams who are good but the team I had was not.  The first thing the supervising person did was put his tool box directly down on my antique dining room table.  Two pieces of furniture are actually re-assembled backwards.
