Our privacy block wall had deteriorated and split down the corner, leaving a 5-6 inch gap between the sides. The longer wall was sagging down the hill. My husband and I were hesitant going into such a big project but upon meeting the owner, Pete, we knew we were in good hands. He came to do the estimate on a Friday and gave a very competitive quote. Materials were ordered Monday. We were both impressed and surprised that the project was completed by Wednesday! The wall is repaired, and looks better than when we bought the house. Their team is quick and thorough! The project site was well cleaned and maintained during the project and was left very clean afterwards as well. I highly recommend AJB concrete and masonry, and would definitely call them with any future projects.

No attention to detail. The joints are sloppy, concrete uneven. Poured second color concrete on first color concrete. Did not provide fiber mess as discussed.

AJB Construction did an outstanding job installing a concrete driveway at my home. Pete was always responsive and timely throughout the project. I only wish other contractors had the work-ethic of AJB Construction. Workers arrived every day on time and worked very hard during an unusually hot week where temperatures reached 107 during each day of the 3-day job. The old asphalt was removed and hauled away while the driveway was professionally prepped for a 3rd-day poor, all during extremely hot working conditions. My only (minor) complaint was that a treatment was applied to the finished concrete that was supposed to aid in the curing process during excessively hot temperatures. The sprayer used to apply the treatment was clearly worn out and as a result, what should have been a mist, ended up being an uneven, pooling, runny liquid that ultimately stained the surface with a 20% coverage. I suspect the stain will fade with time and it is not very noticeable from a distance. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend AJB. Their bid was competitive and the job was completed on time. I am very pleased with the results and would definitely use them again.

Pete and his crew came when they said they would, were cheerful and friendly, worked hard, gave me a fair price, and did a great job demolishing my old cracked patio slab and pouring a beautiful new one. They also did a bang-up job of cleaning up after themselves.

I just had a driveway extension, not a full driveway and AJB Construction had no problem doing the small job! Pete was very professional and called me 2 minutes after the request. His price was spot on and actually less than I expected. He called me on Thursday and completed the job on Monday by noon. You can't ask for better service than this! I highly recommend this company!

How great it is when a project goes off without a hitch. Hats off to the AJB crew. Great follow through on the quote, worked my job into their schedule, quickly understood and executed the intended design, and on time both work days. Great work and nice crew. They were through in two days and we love our new driveway.
