The Design Recipe

I met with the designer initially and gave her my thoughts, my ideas, some of the things that I like, some of the things I didn't like. I followed up with a second seeing. She got a lot of things - I was a bit overwhelmed when she came out the second time. She never used a design service for it. I didn't really know what to say. I was kind of told this was not my area of expertise. But when they came out with the design, it was like one curtain was 800 something dollars. I just said that's really out of my price range. I think she is used to dealing with a lot more income. She also had a painter some out that would gave an estimate and he apologized for forgetting the estimate. And said he would come out and deliver it, and never came out. There was no follow through. They didn't follow through the phone calls to confirm our appointments. Initially when I first contacted her, I had to leave her two messages. She called and said she was out of town, she would follow up when she got back in town. She didn't follow up, I had to call her again.
