I've used him over the last two or three years, about half a dozen times. He's a contractor and some of his services are subcontracted. About half of it is subcontracted and half of it is done by his people. The heating and air conditioning was a subcontractor and his people put in all the rest. The quality of his work is excellent. He comes on site as the owner of the company every day and checks it out. He's here all the time. He's in and out all the time. His prices were about 2/3 of the other companies I've gotten bids from. Sometimes he's a little slow to get back to you when you call him.

In all of the jobs he has done for me, Michael Roth has done an outstanding job without overselling the project and incurring higher costs than were necessary. The deck and awning job involved replacing the deck flooring with a manufactured decking material and installing a Sunsetter Awning.
The total remodel of a fixer involved replacing or refurbishing windows, counters and sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms. In addition he repaired cracked ceilings and repainted the entire house.  Some hardwood floor replacement was done and all the floors in the house were refinished.  All of this work was carried out expeditiously, expertly, and at a cost far below what I expected.
The refurbishment of a rental house I own involved refinishing the floors, repainting, tile repair, outside plaster repair, installation of a dryer vent, wallpaper removal and ceiling repairs.  Again the work was completed expeditiously and expertly.
