Roger is not a slick salesman.  He would much rather be working on your house than selling you on stuff.  And boy does he work fast!
Roger was recommended by a neighbor for whom he had done a beautiful addition, complete home remodel and landscaping.
We bid our house remodel and addition with several contractors.  Roger's price was unbeatable.  (One contractor promised to match Roger's price and then backed out when we told him what Roger's bid was.)  Roger works fast and is very good at managing the cumbersome permitting process so that things go as quickly as possible.  I was happy with all of the sub-contractors Roger recommended.  In particular, Neves Custom Cabinets did a beautiful job on our custom kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities.
Roger can do non-standard and upscale finishes and appliances if you are willing to manage ordering and providing materials and installation instructions (we did a lot of this), but he seems to be quicker and more comfortable with standard finishes.  If most of your tile, hardware and appliances are the sort of thing you can buy at Lowe's or Home Depot Roger will have no problem handling everything himself once you point out what you want. 
If you want to use unusual plumbing, tile, lighting or appliances you should expect to have to find a retailer yourself, figure out if the items have unusual installation requirements, and then coordinate with Roger to see if what you want can be made to work and if it will add extra expense to install. 
Roger has been good with follow-up.  Once we were in the home we identified a few problems that had been missed in the final punch list and Roger was prompt about following up on them.
