Edwins Plumbing Service

My small 800 sq ft quest house was damaged due to a broken pipe causing extensive water damage to the entire house. The house is a 120 year old craftsman with original windows, doors and wall finish. I originally called Edwin to fix plumbing on the main house which he did in an acceptable manner. Edwin represented that he had experience in house renovations and showed me his general contracting license. He gave me a quote to complete the repairs to the house as stated above. The general infrastructure work, plumbing, electrical and rough carpentry was completed acceptably. All finish work was done so poorly, I have had to replace a significant portion of all of it. Flooring was installed improperly, tile was installed improperly, stone counter top was miss cut and and improperly installed. Paint was splattered all over flooring and was never cleaned. Permits were not pulled, although he claims they were not required. The bottom line, he seems to be a decent industrial grade plumber but should not do any GC or finish work. Edwin is a pleasant person but does not have the skills needed to be a GC in my opinion.

He's extremely timely. He always comes when he says he will. He is honest and will let you know if you need anything or not. He is also reasonable in price.
