David Judd Painting

The job took a little longer than first expected because of the extreme heat for over a week.  He and his helper painted every day but some days they had to quit early because of the intense heat. They also corrected many of the problems we were having due to the carelessness of the last painters that we had do the work 5 years ago.  His helper also installed gutters and downpipes on the carport and put flashing on the roof that extends over the carport.  In addition we hired the helper to take off the old carpet on our deck and replace one of the sheets of plywood that was damaged from the lack of a drainpipe on the gutters which he also fixed.  Then he installed the new carpet which we furnished.  The total cost of painting was $2500 which we had a signed agreement for.  The cost of the deck and other repairs that the helper did was $500.  It was probably a little high on the painting according to what we paid last time but the job that he did was well worth the cost.  I would recommend him to anyone needing a first class painting job exterior or interior.  He has experience with both.
