MCA Remodeling did a great job on our kitchen. We gave Mitch a rough design of what we wanted in our kitchen. He came out measured our kitchen area and he was able to draw our kitchen up with the cabinets and countertops we picked out in his showroom and the new appliances that we bought for the project. With great help from Sophia on matching our cabinets, countertops, new flooring and paint we have or dream kitchen. She made this kitchen come together. There crew Victor and Maria did a great job remodeling our kitchen. They were very prompt on showing up and leaving every day. They kept everything clean, they covered up all their pathways with tarps before starting every day. They cleaned up their tarps, swept everything before leaving every day. They also kept all the dirt and dust in their working area. Also had them do the flooring throughout the house and redid our fireplace with mantle and stone. I would use them again anytime and highly recommend using them.

We love our master bathroom remodel. Sophia, our designer at MCA was instrumental in assisting with the color scheme and materials chosen to achieve the tranquil bathroom we wanted.

MCA Remodeling did a great job on my kitchen and bathroom remodel. JJ the supervisor and his team were outstanding. We decided to paint the kitchen cabinets instead of replacing. His team did a great job. Also want to thank the plumber, painters and floor installers. They went above and beyond. Everyone was pleasant and easy to deal with. JJ was outstanding in his knowledge and very professional and gracious when we made a few changes in the plan. He was open to anything that we needed done. Awesome job JJ. You are the best. I highly recommend MCA Remodeling and JJ in Hayward, Ca. for all your remodeling needs.

I highly recommend MCA Remodeling. They did an outstanding job on our kitchen upgrade. The entire team was very professional and communicative. JJ came to our house, helped us make various design decisions and gave us a good price. After we accepted the proposal, Gabriel came to take final measurements, explain the installation process and help with the scheduling. Later that week Raul and Hector did the installation: a new countertop with 6” backsplash, cooktop, sink and dishwasher in the kitchen and a new small countertop with 4” backsplash and sink in the basement, all in one day! And it looks amazing. We will definitely consider them again for future home improvement projects.

We've been working with Mitch Alves and MCA Remodeling for seven years. We started with our guest bathroom remodel. We were so please with the results that we contracted with them again on a major remodel of our kitchen and great room. When we got to phase three, it was a no brainer on who we were going to select. Our master bath, bedroom and laundry room turned out exactly the way we dreamed it would. MCA just completed the last phase which included the roof, paint, trim and pavers. We wanted to upgrade the curb appeal of our house. Mitch and his Team guided us through the entire project. What did we look for and expect from our General Contractor? Fair estimates; Quality craftsmanship; great communication; design expertise; on time and courteous crew. As a bonus, Mitch was a great resource for our new garage door and solar installation. MCA delivered and is well deserving of this 5 Star review!!!

From the beginning, MCA offered excellent help while shopping with us to select materials for each room.  
They allowed space to express our likes and dislikes, while offering experienced suggestions when we were in doubt. 
Prudently, MCA was sure to order and receive all materials before beginning work.
MCA seems quite discerning in selecting their crafts people and associates, like painters, granite finishers, and shower door 
builders.
We found their team of workers to be honest, friendly, highly-skilled, and hard-working.
We learned and respected -- as we had heard widely -- that construction and remodeling has inevitable timing delays and surprise technical puzzles to solve.
Also MCA had days when other jobs and needs delayed our progress.
So at our home, there were days when nothing happened, and balancing moments when one, two, or more craftsmen were on the job. 
Money-wise, the MCA cost estimate was 30% less than the highest competitor.
They were totally true to their financial contract, even when unexpected, added modifications were needed.
Were we to identify MCA's growing edge, it would be improved communication and more focus on continuity to begin and finish in a slightly more timely manner.
We know that is easier for us to ask than it is to fulfill in the challenging world of remodeling and staffing.
It really does take a village to coordinate and complete all of the various requirements -- material choices, teamwork, electrical, plumbing, tiling, and much more.
There are inconveniences, surprises, and a need for patience.
In the end was it all worth it, and would we highly recommend MCA?
We surely would, YES.
