The Costales Team has done it again. They had done such a spectacular job with our house 2 years ago that when it came time to sell my moms with my sister, I really vied to have her again. It seemed like a slow start going from first speaking to them to finally listing it on the market but my mom had so much in there, I think it was understandable so. First things first was hauling the junk including the dead forgotten critters. Yikes! Then their was the getting some work done (slapping on some make up) to make it more sellable. Lastly, was the staging and pics which I didn't even recognize the house. It was just amazing at how great it looked. When it came time to pricing, my sister and I took her suggestion into consideration but thought it was too low but Joraine and Marc listened while we said it needed to be higher. After upping the listing price to 999,888. They had the big open house with at least 30 people came thru, you'd think they are throwing a party up in there. We had one offer before offer deadline but we wanted to give other people a chance to place a bid. Another couple of offers came in at very low price of under listing which made us worried. I think someone said "All you need is one good offer". We prayed about that one good offer after our counter scared off the 2 prospective buyers and just like that, we got it 210,000 over asking price. Marc and Joraine gave 110% & it truly shows. I'm am so happy Joraine represented us for our first home purchase! She was extremely professional, a great communicator, and she went above and beyond for us! To highlight some of the amazing things she did: We were interested in a condo that wasn't ready to be shown to buyers but Joraine was able to get us in to view it. When the time came to put in offers, we put in offers at 2 different properties - both of which were accepted! Finally, while we were in escrow we had voiced some concerns about the closing costs to Joraine. Without asking her, Joraine took the initiative to negotiate with the sellers agent to get us additional funds for closing costs from the seller. Ultimately, she exceeded our expectations and I would definitely recommend her as an agent to anyone looking to purchase a home!

We were so fortunate to be able to work with Joraine to buy our first house! A number of years ago, we backed out of buying a property because of a miscommunication with our real estate agent at the time. One weekend, my boyfriend and I decided to take a look at open houses in search to find our perfect home. Our focus at the time was to find something we liked then look for a Realtor. We walked in to our first open house of the day and there stood a young lady welcoming us in and looking eager to show us around. As we toured the property, she was very knowledgeable and informative of the place and to top things off, she ended our tour in the kitchen where she kept a plate of freshly baked cookies. The aroma of the cookies was a good touch to envision how comforting the place could be. My boyfriend and I were really impressed with her but being skeptics we decided to continue on with our journey without settling for the first Realtor we met. Big mistake!! After looking at more homes that weekend and meeting about a dozen more Realtors, we realized that Joraine was definitely the best. She was young and fresh and was the "go getter" honest type that we were looking for. She contacted us that very day and set us up on a website to receive emails on properties that were within our standards and not to mention, our budget. This proved to us that she was eager to help. Being a wife and a mother of 3, you'd think that after her day at the office is done she'd want to go home and put her feet up, but not Joraine. I called Joraine a year ago just to ask how to go about selling our condo. We bought the condo from my parents a year before. Joraine adviced me to wait another year to sell it. My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to buy. We went online and found a few open houses we wanted to attend. At the first open house we met Joraine. She gave us a tour of the property answering all of our questions. Joraine was very knowledgeable and professional. We were so impressed we decided to use her as our realtor. When my husband and I found out our landlords were moving back and weren't able to continue to let us live in our apartment, we decided we would see if it was possible for us to buy anything in the crazy Bay Area market.
