John Chan Plumbing does nice work, but can be a little flaky in regards to communication. I think he's simply too busy.

Took time off work to meet him in the morning (8:30 am) and he had forgotten the date. Worker showed, up several hours late, (after the quote I thought John was doing the work). Worker had to wait for parts. Worker had to leave and come back. What was quoted as a 4 hour job became a 10 hour job. Service went from quoted $480 to requested $875, refused to pay that ended up paying around $700. John is very nice, but will not use the service again.

There is not a big story here. I find that John Chan is a pure and total professional with a grade A attitude with his customers. I also find John as well as his employees to be above board and honest and they all do outstanding work. I have called John Chan for my plumbing needs for over twenty years and would not even consider another plumber. Carl Watts

I was very happy with his work, all was done without any problems. He even cleaned some calking another plumber had messily done. Next time I have a problem, I'll definitely call him.
