We love this shop and take all of our vehicles there.
They were willing to take the time to make a diagnosis (rather than saying oh it's nothing to worry about) - and in fact there was a necessary repair to be made in the emissions system.
They always communicate clearly -- give you a fair price -- and you can believe them about whether a repair is necessary or not. They are HONEST.
They don't ignore you or talk down to you because you are a female.
Car was done at the time specified. Price was within the estimate -- and the repair was accurate.

"Thank you for your kind words. We pride ourselves on being thorough in both diagnostics and explanations. We say "if the manufacturer took the time to add a check engine warning light to the dash, when it comes on it needs to be addressed". Once the codes are retrieved, advice on how quickly if needs to be handled can be given. Just a side note- if the light starts flashing stop driving. It is now trying to tell you this is an emergency."

My experience with Bonnie and customer check in folks was great.
My experience with mechanic and mechanic supervisor was amazingly poor. They could not tuneup, could not provide smog test, recommended additionally diagnostic testing at another $300.
I declined testing.
Took vehicle to local Ford dealer - passed smog, no tuneup, $80.

"We can always tuneup a vehicle and perform a smog test. I could not find this customer in my data base, so I can only surmise. If his vehicle came in for a smog check with the check engine light on it would not pass a smog check. He may have ask about a tuneup as a solution for the check engine light and we advised against this as a solution (we did not tuneup nor did the dealer to get it to pass smog). If I could look at the records I could be more exact. Are they possibly under another name?"

They walked me through each step and fully explained each item that needed to be done. Also they clearly stated price and stayed within that price and it was actually less than they originally stated.
