Until recently, I rented out a single family home through Triad, and have since March 2006. We evicted a tenant earlier this year. Afterwards, I paid Triad over $2,000 to fix the house and get it back on the rental market. It sat vacant for months. At the recommendation of a friend, I had the keys to transferred to another manager. He looked at the house and reported back that it was in terrible condition and not suitable for habitation. There were many problems, but the most significant from a safety perspective was the back deck which had exposed nails and splinters all over it. Additionally, the pool was completely drained of water and ruined (because they turned the water off), and all of the pool equipment had been stolen. They had no idea any of this happened because they never went to the house!!! When I asked the property manager about the pool, she had no idea. I talked to the pool guy, Dan, who said he called Triad repeatedly to tell them. The property manager's response: "I can not speak for what conversation Dan had wit anyone other than myself. I was not notified about there being any issues about the pool, other than the pool being low on water at the time of the lock out." Ok then! As long as you weren't notified, Triad is off the hook! Let the client swallow those thousands of dollars of damages because the employees at Triad don't talk to each other. I could on about the bad service: misleading me about who the apartment was rented to (which ended up in me losing money in an eviction); charging me $40 to replace a pad lock on a fence; etc. These are absolutely dishonest and untrustworthy people. I would never consider doing business with them again, and encourage all others to stay away.
Description of Work: They were supposed to get the house, from which a person was recently evicted, fixed up and back on the market. $2,000 later, the house sat vacant for months.
