He showed up on-time, did excellent work for us and our neighbors have already complimented us on the work.

Jason was extremely professional when he came out and gave me an estimate for the job. The price seemed fair and he said he would email the invoice that evening. I didn’t hear back from him but since I had other companies coming out for estimates I didn’t worry about it. After getting three estimates I thought Tustin Landscape was a fair price. So, I called Jason back and asked if he would like to submit his bid and we could start work ASAP. Again, he said I would receive an email that evening “by 9:00 pm”. Again, NOTHING. Really disappointed with this company. Angie’s List needs to review this company and decide if they endorse this company. If they do then I need to rethink Angie’s List.

He was wonderful and extremely pleasant when I spoke with him on the phone. Unfortunately I was not ready to get the work done, which is why I requested a refund on this Big Deal.

I was totally unsatisfied with him. He was supposed to help me with landscaping in the front and back area, and some of the plants that he provided died, and he pretended that it was my fault, because we were having a hot dry spell. They had been watered, and they died. He acted like he couldn't do enough to please you and then all of a sudden he was insulted. I know things can happen, but make it good. He didn't want to replace them or anything. I just wasn't pleased with him. The price seemed fair, at the time, but in the end, it didn't seem like a good deal.

It took them a very long time to get in touch with me.  They came out and gave me a bid for several thousand dollars, so we ultimately went with someone else and I’d like to refund the deal.  They were very nice and polite, but the scope of the work they wanted to do was beyond what I wanted to spend.

They came out and their price was nearly triple what I expected. I chose not to go with them for that reason. They quoted about $600 and that was far too high.

He was professional and showed up on time. I was not pleased with the quality of the trimmings that he did. The plants looked butchered not trimmed by a landscaping professional. It seamed like he was fishing for a bigger job, which is OK but you still have to carry through with what you advertised for in a professional manor even if your loss leader job offer is all the customer really wants.

They did a good job. I had some area that needed to be worked out and the guy came out with his three helpers and they took care of it in like about 40 minutes.

THIS COMPANY IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE!!!  I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AND I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH ANGIE'S LIST.
In November of 2012 I called to schedule a time for Jason to come out and give an estimate for different jobs.  We originally scheduled for someone to come out on the weekend, but no one ever showed up or called. When I called to see what happened, he apologized ans said someone could come out the next day but that didn't work for our schedule so I
asked about next and he said he couldn't because they were starting a big job next that would last through the end of December.  So I told him we would call after the holidays.
In April we called again to have him come out and give us an estimate. An appointment was set for the following week, but Jason had Voila call to say he couldn't make and wanted to reschedule for the following week. We agreed since we were not under time constraints for the work that needed to be done. Jason finally did come and give an estimate and it was extremely high compared to other estimated for landscape work we had gotten done.
We contacted Tustin Landscape because of an Angie's List coupon we purchased back in October of 2012. The coupon was only good for 6 months, and we asked about the expiration date getting close and they assured us that since we got the estimate before it expiration date that there was no problem and we could get the work done at anytime.
Due to the high cost they charged for their work, and that we wanted to get our money's worth for the coupon we purchased, we told Viola that we only wanted them to do one of the smaller items they gave us an estimate for.  When we tried to schedule an appointment for the work t hey said "THEY COULDN'T DO THE WORK BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T BE WORTH IT FINANCIALLY DUE TO THE COST OF TRANSPORTATION FOR MAKING 2 TRIPS TO OUR HOUSE!. I couldn't believe their response, I was shocked. The first trip they explained was coming out for the estimate.  He never mentioned anything on the phone or in person about us living too far away.  We live in North Orange County and they are in Tustin??? Are you kidding me, that is NOT FAR!!!  When we reminded them that we had paid $199  and expected them to do the work or refund us our money, they said they would only refund us $149, the amount they got from Angie's List. We told them that was not OK.
Since then we have sent numerous email, made numerous phone calls, and left numerous messages....WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE BACK AT ALL.  We are in the process of filing a formal complaint with Angie's List and looking into taking legal action to get our money back.

Punctual. Did a great job cleaning up my landscape (weeding, pruning, cutting, etc., of trees, bushes).  Very professional.  Will call again when another touch up needed.

The slope work, our main reason for hiring Tustin Landscape, was unsatisfactory. They billed themselves as "The Slope Experts" but when the old grass and plants were cleared and new Red Apple, plants and trees were planted, no weed abatement work was done or time allowed for the weeds to appear and be dealt with. In less than a month from completion, weeds and crab grass were already knee length and covered the entire slope. After repeated phone calls in the first few weeks after the plantings, most of which were not returned, they sent a crew over for a few hours to pull weeds. Only about a fourth of the slope was weeded and the rest was left untouched. Also, multiple plants died in  the first month, and were promised to be replaced, but only two or three were. Subsequent phone calls were not returned and, when we finally contacted them, we were told to go hire day laborers to fix our mounting weed problems. The follow up on this project was poor and we would not recommend this company.

The work was completed in November 2012.  While the owner was quite professional, he did not provide the best supervision of the apparently inexperienced workers who removed a number of bulbs and other plants before we noticed the error and advised them to stop pulling them out.
In retrospect, the inexperienced workers and the shortened work schedule seemed to make the deal seem rushed and the quality of work only "fair."

I was not satisfied with them at all and I wouldn't take that deal again because they rushed through. One of the plants they transplanted died.

I originally purchased the 4 hour season clean up deal on Angie's list, but once Jason came out to the house I realized that we needed a lot more than 4 hours of work. Jason and two team members spent 8+ hours on our job. They showed up on time (even in the rain), worked all day and did more work than originally agreed to. The scope of the work was weeding, old plant removal, adding mulch, trimming remaining plants, replanting all backyard color and fertilizing. Jason did i good job of understanding our needs (hardy plants to withstand the dogs) and our preferences in flower colors and types. Despite the fact that we did this in January, he was able to find "season color" that created a great overall effect. At the end of the day, Jason walked the job with me to ensure that everything met my satisfaction. Later that evening we found that several of our landscaping lights were not working, we assumed it was because the wires had been knocked out during the planting. I contacted Jason and he came out the next day to fix them. It turned out that we had burnt out bulbs (oops, embarrassing). I will use them again in the spring to plant more color.

After the agreed upon work was more or less done I asked if they could further remove and thin some of our bamboo and carry away the additional yard waste. Justin gave me an estimate and I agreed to have him complete the additional work requested. They worked a couple of additional hours and removed a pick up full of bamboo. Overall they did good work and worked diligently. I think that the hauling charge was a little on the high side but I was glad to have someone here to do the job and get this taken care of. I was willing to trade the money for the hard work that they did. Justin was professional and polite. He did a good job thinning the bamboo according to my instruction and asked several times how each clump looked. The deal is good if you have just weeding and some leaves to clean up. They worked quickly and quietly. They did leave one of their clean up buckets in my yard but it was just a recyclable 20 gallon plastic landscaping pot. In four hours they were finished and one their way to the dump.

I purchased a big deal coupon to do a quick yard cleanup job. Because my schedule is so tight it took a couple weeks to secure a date I could meet with the contractor but once we did he was on time and receptive to what I wanted done and upon my suggestions created a larger scope of work that included cleanup, etc. Contractor forwarded me a contract later the same day and upon my approval work began the following day and was completed in one day as promised. Payment in full was made at the completion of the work.
