JCS CONSTRUCTION

He was suppose to do much more than what he finally did but because of the delays, I cancelled the work and hired different contractors to paint all my rooms, install new doors, refinish the floors, and install carpet.  The only thing he was prompt on was asking for another payment even though the work completion date was late and cost overruns.  The cost over run was $2,000.
I would not recommend this contractor.  They do not pay attention to detail. The floors were scratched because they did not cover them properly.  I had to make sure that the floors were adequately covered and dirt and dust was cleaned up after each work day.  I was promised much more than what I what I received. I don't believe that workmen hired had ever worked with stain or hung doors as two doors started to fall off and one of the drawers does not flow freely.

JCS was a little slow to respond and get started initially but then promptly started and completed job.  Work was high quality and good value.

I found them on Angie's List. He came across as very competent with high integrity. The recommendations on Angie's List gave him very positive feedback and references. He definitely came across as the one who made decisions. His assessment of the damage and estimated cost of repair seemed pretty accurate. He did a great job with the results and I would definitely highly recommend him. I would recommend his high integrity to others, he's very personable and the quality of work is great. I would use him again in a minute.
