Window Service
The experience was good but the communication wasn't great. We didn't know when they were coming. When they finally did the work, one window was broken. They said they'd come back but it took them 3-4 weeks to come back out -- and we had to keep on them about that. Other than that, the experience was great.

Carpet Installation
Home Depot has way too many extra charges. They charge extra for haul away, and furniture moving. We only needed 2 pieces moved and they were still going to charge us. They charge $50 to measure. My other quotes did NOT charge for these items. They overcharged and their lead time was WAY TO LONG!! The company that we used took 3 days to do everything with no extra charges.

Took a long time from date of order to actual day of installation (9 weeks!). Once doors were actually in store, the contractor came and installed both sets of doors in no time.

I'D GIVE THEM AN A OVERALL. COMPARED TO OTHER CONTRACTORS I HAVE USED IN THE PAST, WITH THEM AT LEAST I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING THAT THEY ARE DOING. I KNOW THEY ARE DOING A GOOD JOB. THEY ARE JUST TOO EXPENSIVE.

IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THE PROFESSIONALISM, THE COURTESY, AND THE PRICE. THEY CAME OUT, THEY MEASURED, THEY TOOK NOTES, THEY WENT BACK, AND THEY CUSTOM MANUFACTURED THE BLINDS. THEY CAME BACK AND INSTALLED THEM. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH IT. IT WAS GOOD QUALITY MATERIAL THAT THEY USED, AND EVERYTHING FIT RIGHT.

PICKED OUT COLOR CHOICES WITH DESIGN EXPERT FOR INTERIOR REFURBISHMENT. WORKED WITH HOME DEPOT EMPLOYEE TO GET SEVERAL GALLONS OF PRIMER BASE COAT, SEVERAL GALLONS OF COMMON COLOR AND ONE GALLON EACH OF FIVE ACCENT COLORS.

THE SALES PERSON AT THE STORE WAS HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS. THE DOOR WAS ORDERED AND ARRIVED ON TIME BUT THE HARDWARE NEEDED WAS FORGOTTEN. THIS RESULTED IN A THREE-DAY DELAY. THE FOLLOW UP WITH THE STORE WAS NOT VERY RESPONSIVE. REPEATED CALLS WERE MADE WITH NO RETURN CALL.
