When we first decided to do this work Exterior Concepts and Solutions (ECS) arrived on time and they have many samples with them. They looked at our current layout and took into account the surrounding colors (we had brick work for our planters). ECS recommended going with different color bricks than what we originally thought would look good. After placing samples next to our current brick, ECS was spot on with the color choices. Then we thought a certain layout would look good. ECS suggested a different layout, more diagonal. I thought this layout would be harder to do, thus making it more expensive. The price was the same regardless of the layout. So we decided to go with the diagonal, which was the perfect fit. Since we were on a budget (like most of us) I could not go over the allotted amount. I explained this to ECS and wanted to get what I could within my budget. I don't want to go into detail about the cost, but lets just say that ECS bent over backwards to do whatever they could to stay within our budget and I didn't have to sacrifice the design or what bricks I was limited to. I got EXACTLY what I wanted.
A few days later the works showed up and the work started. I'm not sure what those guys had for breakfast, but those guys were fast. They got so much done in one day, by day 3 the work was complete. During the work I would walk around the area and just look at the progress. The builders would point really minor details that were out of place (e.g. one of the bricks that was cut to fit didn't line up exactly how it was meant to) and assured me that they would fix it. Now, as they pointed out one or two areas that needed to be detailed, I didn't think it was a problem. I even told them not to worry about it because I won't know the difference. So naturally I thought they would leave it as is. Nope, I was wrong. They fixed every little detail there was and I am glad that they did.
Once the job was complete, we had a walk through and we couldn't be happier. Everything turned out exactly as I envisioned if not better. I was so happy with ECS and we hired them again. But this time it was for the front lawn.
Working with ECS was very easy and they communicated well. They would call me back right away and answered any question or concerns we had. Their knowledge is this industry is incredible. As I mentioned above, ECS know exact what color brick and design we should go with, and it worked perfectly. Much better than what we thought would look good.
I would HIGHLY recommend ECS for you next job. And if you are not sure what to do, just have them come over and take a look. They have great ideas.
By the way, my sales guy was Kurt. He was OUTSTANDING!!!! Really know his stuff.
