Jesse arrived within 30 minutes of our request for service. He worked quickly and efficiently and had the job done in no time. He was very pleasant to deal with, a great company representative! we will continue to use California Keys when the need arises.

We got the correct hardware and he returned the following day and installed the hardware and rekeyed four of the locks. We also wanted our pool gate locks included too, but due to the uniqueness of those locks, he was unable to do so. Adam was thorough, timely and professional.

On Sunday the lock got to the point I could not even lock the door. So I called Eric (from Angie's list) who sent someone out within two hours. I do not remember his name but he went right to work, knew exactly what he was doing, and fixed the lock like it has never been before all within 45 minutes. It now works perfectly! I am very happy!!! I would recommend California Keys to friends and family.

I called California Keys, and spoke with Eric, and schedule an appointment two days later. The gentleman that came out to the house, was on time and professional. The entire job took about just 1-hour. This person name was Eden. The company name on the invoice was different from what was posted on Angie List. So I called Eric to confirm if this person works for him. No response at this time. Conclusion: (TBA). Over-all the job was professionally done and the person was punctual.

We purchased a house and wanted to get the locks re-keyed prior to moving in. 
Scheduling was quick and easy via Angie's list message center.  I was given a 2 hour time window and told they would call 30 minutes before arrival.  Problem is that nobody called or showed up.  After the 2 hours was up I called and was told nobody could come that day.  I was annoyed because I sat in an empty house for 2 hours waiting.  I rescheduled for a couple days later.  The person was late, but did call to tell me he was going to be late due to being stuck in traffic.  Two of the locks could not be re-keyed because I did not have keys to the locks so I bought a new door knob for one that he had in stock in his truck.  One of the locks on a metal screen door could not be re-keyed so he said he would order a new lock for it.  I never heard back about it being ordered. 
The work that was done was good and at a fair price, but the professionalism was lacking in not showing up on the scheduled day (and without calling to tell me) and then not following up on ordering the additional lock.

The guy called and set up a time, came on time did everything I wanted him to do and more.
I have used this company once again in December for my rental and he was there right after my tenants left to change the locks.

They arrived on time and completed good work.

Fabulous!  On time; I went from 6 keys to 2 keys. Fixed the locks so that they close and open more easily. The representative was incredible!  Courteous, professional and quick!

We bought a new house 6 weeks ago and thought we had keys for every lock in the house.  We locked our bedroom so the kids wouldn't see the Christmas presents and found ourselves locked out!!!  No key anywhere!!!  He came within an hour, unlocked the room and made a key for us!  So polite and sweet and even put up with my 7 year old curious son hovering over him as he worked.

Eric called me right away from California keys locksmith to set up the appointment. Donnie came out and did the job work efficiently cleaned up after himself. I was very happy with the job.
