About us
We are a veterinary clinic specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases in animals. We often deal with difficult and chronic conditions. As a referral practice, we work closely with your family veterinarian providing them with updates every time your pet is seen. There are many skin diseases that look very much alike, with only subtle differences in clinical picture and historical backgrounds. Our dermatologists are trained to focus on these differences and pursue a direct and cost effective diagnostic work-up. The majority of our doctors are Diplomates. A Diplomate is a licensed veterinarian who has completed an additional two-to-three years of a residency under an approved program as mandated by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. A veterinarian who successfully meets the requirements and completes an approved residency program and then meets the credentialing requirements of the ACVD can then sit for the qualifying examination for the College. Once that examination is successfully passed, the candidate becomes a Diplomate.

"Thank you for your positive feedback. I am sorry that our Tustin clinic does not offer Saturday appointments, but if you need to schedule a recheck for your cat, please ask about our extended hours. One day a week we are open until 9PM and perhaps you can see us after your work hours to avoid taking time off. Thank you!"
Dr. Muse methodically treated the problem on all fronts, swabbing the rash and examining the specimen while we there to check for secondary infections, and reviewing blood work for underlying causes. He also considered diet and environment. It happened that our cat had an allergy problem complicated by secondary infections. We visited the vet multiple times over 3 months. Once the remedy was identified - resolution was fast.
We were very pleased with his professionalism!
The value that Dr. Muse provided was worth the cost.
