AL Morgan Plumbing

Mr. Morgan was very pleasant and friendly and performed the services in less than an hour.  He returned our call quickly and arrived within a couple hours after our conversation.  He was upfront about the problem and didn't try to enlarge the problem like another plumber did when we called him about an estimate.  Mr. Morgan also made a special trip to pick up a rubber gasket for the flushing mechanism on our toilet when we mentioned we were having problems with toilet water running.  The plumbing supply company was out of the part and he ordered it for us.  Al Morgan will be our go-to plumber in the future.  We were impressed with his knowledge and experience.

We had a slab leak and my husband tried to repair it himself.  The last weld would just not hold, so we called a professional.  Al came in and welded the pipe that was in an awkward spot and difficult to reach.  That was nearly a month ago and the weld holds.

Al gave an estimate of the job and said it'd be by the hour to fix. He diagnosed that I'd need a new disposer(which we expected). He told me which to buy. I ran to OHme Depot, leaving him (a stranger) alone in my home. I felt fine , and I'm not sure why. I called him from HOme Depot and he helped me choose a midline disposer. So nice of him.While I was gone he changed the pipe that was clogged to the dishwasher.When I got back he quickly put a new disposer in. I thought it'd cost so much more because he charges by the hour and was at my place for almost 1.5 hrs. In the end, we was so kind and said it would be $65 only. WOW I was SUPER HAPPY !!!! He is  HONEST, EXPERIENCED, KNOWLEDGABLE IN HIS FIELD

I made lots of calls on Angie's list and got voicemails and companies who wouldn't even estimate until they had started the job. I was leery of that. Finally I got Al and he is a one-man show and picked up himself. He gave me a definitive time of arrival in a few hours. Al charges $60/hr. (cheap I realized) and told me he wouldn't charge me more than 2 hours for the whole job, which was great to hear. He finished his previous job early (never heard such a thing!) and called me back and came right over in minutes, much earlier than we had planned (also unheard of). He immediately found the problem--a burnt out thermocouple. He even had one with him to replace it. Just one problem--American Heaters uses an unusual left-handed thread bolt! Well, he got on the phone and found a local supplier within minutes.  To save time and a few bucks, I decided to drive the short drive to pick up the part (under warranty!) while Al did another quick job (I had no problem with that). He came right back and had it working within minutes. He was so nice and genuine and has been doing this a long time. He seemed like a good ol' fashioned guy, and a throwback to when you knew you could trust people. I like that. He's not some big company with dispatchers who have to overcharge for everything. Al then charged me only $75 bucks! Unbelievably cheap! I gave him $100 and he would hardly take it until I insisted. I told him I am saving his information for next time!

I would highly recommend Al to anyone.  He has thorough knowledge on the work he performs.

I had a handful of estimates all ranging from $400 up to $600 and "weren't sure" if they could get the faucet out, meaning the whole sink would have to be pulled and of course cost more money. All the while adding in additional things that "needed" to be done. Al came to do an estimate and he was so reasonably priced it was a no brainer. He was professional, courteous, and he was confident the faucet would come out fine and there would be no need for the sink to be pulled. Additionally, he did not try to tack on additional services that were unnecessary at the time. He made the repairs, cleaned up and was on his way in about 2 hours, would have been less but I had to return the faucet originally purchased because it was defective. I will definitely use Al for my future plumbing needs.

Al was a good plumber. I originally requested him to provide an estimate because I still had other plumbers coming in to "bid" on the work. He provided the estimate and he explained that he can do the work right now. I felt comfortable with him doing the work especially because the price was reasonable and I had bought all the parts and pieces needed to get the job done. I may consider calling him if I had an emergency, but if I have work that allows time to invite other plumbers to bid the work, I would encourage more competition. He was rated a C on punctuality because he arrived late from another job.

Al Morgan is very professional and a nice man to be around. He is also easy to get along with. He does very efficient work and I would recommend him in a minute to anyone in our area that is looking for a reliable plumber.
