Overall, it went very well.  The big exception was that the estimator, Alicia, way underestimated the weight of our shipment. I don't know what she was thinking. The driver and loading/unloading crews were superb.  The driver, Marion, knew we were over weight and was willing to take more than the estimate, but finally reached the point where he said he just couldn't take anything else. This left us in a bind, so I volunteered to pay extra and he was able to take most of the rest of our items. I realize that some of the things we ultimately decided to ship were not properly explained to the estimator, but she still didn't do a good job of estimating. All of our household goods stayed on the truck from the time they left our door until they arrived at our new house. I can't over emphasize how important this was.  Nothing was lost and nothing of importance was damaged; a couple of dings in our kitchen trash can and one desk lamp.  No big deal for such a large move. There was a miscommunication on the delivery date. The driver was told a different date than I was, so our household goods arrived about four days late. It was an inconvenience, but not a huge one.

It went very well; they were excellent. They did a good job and were prompt and courteous. They followed through and did what they said they were going to do. The price was very competitive, but my load did not arrive when Allied Moving said it would. It came a couple of days later, but that was okay with us. They did a very nice job packing, nothing was broken.

We used this company about 8yrs ago for a shorter move and we were very happy with them then. They gave us the best price and they were very nice to work with.

I had them move me from New York to California and they did a real good job. I would use them again. I had a good experience with them. I don't know how much it cost as Uncle Sam paid for it. They had done a good job at packing my stuff and made sure that nothing was broke in the process.
