Legendary Painting

This contractor was sent photos of the work that we needed done, and he gave us a quote. It was raining, he kept texting or calling, wanting to know when he could start. He sent 2 guys to do the job. They poured out leftover paint(red) in our backyard where our dog tracked it in and on our new sofa. Very unprofessional and wife was irate! Then he called and texted daily, wanting to know when he was getting paid. I reminded him that when that bank closed on the loan, he would get paid. Tired of the continuous texts and calls, I did not return the texts for a day! He then texted to threaten me that he was going to put a lean(lien) on our property! My wife sent a text back explaining to him, that we did not control the bank, he was aware of it being in the banks hands, and I do not care for being threatened with a (lien)lean. She went on to explain to him that if there was a lean(lien) on our property; the loan would fall through, and we certainly know what that means. She went on to add that as soon as we closed, he would get paid for the two guys that actually did the work, being that ?he? did not. He used no punctuation, could not spell lien, and was a jerk! He ruined a $2,000 sofa, tried to put dirt over the red paint the guy poured out in our yard. This guy was a nightmare! We ended up texting him that we were just going to pay his guys from our account just to get rid of him. We saved all texts in case he tries to deny any of this. I would not hire him for anything again, nor would I recommend him to my worst enemy!
