Gowin Green

My wife and I contracted with this Gowin Green landscaping company, Tulare, Ca 93275 in August of 2020 to complete our backyard on a new construction home for 9,780.00, its been an issue after issue ever since. Paid for a Winter Rye seeding over my newly installed Bermuda sod they installed. Owners wife and job manager promised it would bring green to the winter months and not hurt the Bermuda sod. Well no green that year???? But it seems the job manager admitted they used the wrong seed! Now I have 70 percent of a short fescue looking grass and 30% percent Bermuda and they will NOT fix it. The short Fescue looking grass seed?? they used, killed most of my Bermuda sod! They claim it is Winter Rye but its been vibrant green all year and we get temperatures in the 100's every day since late May! I had to turn them into the Contractors board and their license is currently under investigation as of September 04, 2022. My yard was such a mess then I hired Gowin Green for a total yard and patio makeover. Best decision I ever made.

very well done - a little pricey, but done well and right on time

Very, very overpriced. They are more concerned about getting to the next lawn then they are with providing quality service. They charged $30 a month more than the company I hired to replace them. That is unfortunate, considering how bad of a job they do.

Didn't use.

The initial planning was good, and the execution even better.  Gowin's did a great job of changing the entire look of our home. Now, a year later, we still get comments and complements on the landscaping and overall "curb appeal".
Of course, we use the  Gowin Green weekly service to keep it nice, too!

They arrived at the agreed time and did all the work we had agreed upon.  They worked effeciently and finished in good time. Everything was left thoroughly cleaned up and ready to grow. The yard went from being a very uneven, weed filled mess to a nice looking area that the pets and I can enjoy.  The owners came by several times to check on the progress.  I have known James and Shea for some time and would not have expected any less from them.
