Kosich Firewood added a new service of yard cleaning to their existing services. They typically stick to Truckee/Tahoe for the service but were willing to look at my yard to give me an estimate. Also, they typically deal with pine trees and not actual landscaping.
My yard is approximately 7000 sq ft and was completely overgrown with shrubs, weeds, and hideous bushes and trees. The owner and an employee showed up at 9:30 and worked their butts off until 3:30. He even suggested adding bark to the front to make it more aesthetically pleasing and went to Home Depot to pick it up to add it. Keep in mind, they're not landscapers. They're a tree removal service that also offers general clean up.
They did a great job. All were very professional and the owner answered e-mails immediately. Would definitely use them again if I lived in the Truckee/Tahoe area. I think the price was good. The quote was for also removing a deck which they didn't end up doing but it was still included in the invoice; however, because I think the quote was low from the beginning and the yard was more work than he thought up front, I didn't bring it up. I still think it was a fair price for all that they did.
to talk you into a type of wood you do not want. This supplier delivered a full cord of well-seasoned wood on-time. He also has a good truck that doesn't leak oil on your driveway. My last supplier was a little cheaper but only delivered 3/4 of a cord and it took a week for him to correct the problem.
