Perfect! It was a very pleasurable process right from the beginning, even with scheduling the appointment. Everyone understood what I was asking and saying, no dumb or bored retorts, like one gets so often. The crew showed up on time did an impeccable job, always kept their cool, though it was kind of a difficult task. They were friendly and explained everything. When they found out that one of the fixtures didn't work, they even negotiated with the seller for a replacement. And totally unexpected they took with them all the wrapping etc. and left our home spotless. Definitely we found our future electric company.

Professional customer service from request call for service to installation of remote switch. The same day the technician called to say he would be here in about 45 minutes...he arrived right on time, listened to our concerns, explained every detail of the installation process, gave a quote for service. Within minutes, our light and fan remote was installed and working! In the future, we'll call Gentec Services, Inc. for all electrical needs...and ask for Technician Al!

John the electrician was always on time, super clear about the estimate, found issues that the previous guy didn’t even know or mention, and was fast and good. Their estimate was also a bit lower than 2 other estimates I received, and I had way more confidence in Gentec to complete the work properly. Absolute great experience across the board, would not hesitate to hire again.

Great. These guys know their work. I inherited a lot of Hokey wiring with my purchase of a home that was originally built in 1918 and haphazardly remodeled several times since then. Gentec helped me re-wire the entire Kitchen, sort out a LOT of problems with random hot wires lying around in my crawl space (???) and recently helped me connect a 240V point-of-use water heater. They're always on time, and the work is always well done. While the service tech was out for the POU water heater he finished the install fast enough that we were also able to hire him to install a ceiling fan (that I'm now glad I didn't try to install myself) in the amount of time allotted for the water heater hook-up. I highly recommend these guys, they do very good work.

I got an appointment within the week, and when the gentleman looked a the switches, he learning (as did I) that they had been wired incorrectly. He got it working fairly easily, then he made sure everything was safe, but he pointed out several violations of code that he thought I should take care of as soon as I could. Since we plan to be doing some major work in the next year, I told him I would have them design my new lighting system in the back yard. Even though he came out and spent time figuring out what was wrong, he didn't charge me anything because he said he didn't really do anything. I really liked the gentleman they sent out.

They do electrical and HVAC, but I use them just for HVAC. I had them come install my smart thermostat. They had to replace one of the wires to the thermostat. They got the smart thermostat to work. They just got to work and spent some time educating me about what he was doing. After installing he went over the operation of the thermostat.
They tired to sell me on a service plan, which I wasn't interested in.
