Rob and Al arrived before 12p and they started by inspecting the chimney from the fireplace then climbed to the roof (2-story) to take a look at the chimney cap. It turns out I am losing a screw on the chimney cap. They re-attached it and let me know that everything is okay regarding my chimney (from top to bottom). There are a lot of dust/dirt collected at the fireplace due to draft from the chimney. They spent time on explaining to me that it was due to an opened damper above the fireplace; however, for safety reason the damper was installed in a way that it cannot be closed. In case there is a leak, the gas can escape through the chimney instead of into the house. They also offered to clean the fireplace for me but I think I can just do it myself with a vacuum.
Overall, their service is very professional at a very reasonable price as well as with great courtesy. I will definitely use them again in the future.

their report notes weren't totally clear, so the owner Adam had to rely on my description of the repairs needed to give me an accurate quote.
We are scheduling the repairs this year (didn't use chimney much, and needed to save $$), and Adam has offered a follow-up visit for free to clarify the previous inspection and make sure his bid was accurate.
