He is not the least expensive but he does excellent work. He specializes in Hondas and Acuras but I have a Subaru and he does my Subaru also. He did a lot of work on our Subaru that we gave to our daughter and he has worked on our cars over the years. They are real friendly and they will explain things to you and he doesn't mind taking sometime and telling you something if you've got questions for him. His wife is the one that runs the office down there and we've just been really pleased with his work. He is a little bit more than some places but we have been to other places and when you find someone that does good work you just want to stick with him.

Excellent work, fair pricing. Cand J works only on Honda/Acura vehicles and is a fully trained mechanic on them. They have done all the work on my aging Honda for over 10 years - I'd never go anywhere else.

I thought that I would have to spend $850.00 for a timing belt and water pump replacement because I discovered a new leak on my driveway. I thought that my water pump was leaking. I couldn't tell if it was oil or coolant because of the porous concrete on my driveway. Gene put my car up on the hoist and discovered that the guys that changed my oil last had not tightened my oil plug. The cost was zero. Gene was my mechanic of choice when he worked for Tracy Honda. He opened his own shop and he is a very honest Honda Mechanic. Great guy and his wife Jan is a go-getter. She chases parts and will offer you a ride home if the repairs take a while.
