WHITE THUNDER ROOFING

I can't recommend these guys. Despite the fact that I told the guy WHERE the problem was (we had a leak in our roof caused by an area that was not flashed properly, so water was collecting there), and WHAT the problem was (the aforementioned flashing), he did something for which I had to take his word. It looked pretty much the same when I went up to take a look, but he said that his guys had pulled up the shingles and sealed it and put the shingles back, and that's why I couldn't tell that they had done anything. I asked about the missing flashing, and he assured me that it didn't need it, despite the fact that I told him that I'd seen water collecting up there with my own eyes. He assured me that his work was guaranteed, and if I had any problems, he'd come out and re-do the work. Well, of course, the next time it rained, no problem. The time after that, no problem. The time after that...PROBLEM. And every time since. I called and called the guy, and always got his voice mail, and finally went to their website and wrote an email. By that point, a couple weeks had gone by and it was going to rain again, so I went up on the roof and put about a half-gallon of tar on the leaky spot; then he called back and said that he'd lost our phone number some how, but of course, he'd come out. He came out and said that I had already done what he would've done. I told him that I had done that twice already and it never lasts for very long, so I knew there was going to be a problem there eventually. He said he'd come back after the rain. Called him again a week later, and told him it did indeed leak, and he said he'd come back to replace it, no problem, we had the guarantee. Months passed, a couple phone calls were not returned, and by the time he finally did return the call, I had already patched the roof with about a gallon of tar which, I knew from experience, was not going to last. He said that that was what he would do, but after I insisted that it wasn't going to work, he did do some more work up there and it didn't leak for the rest of the winter. The following winter, it began to leak again and I called someone else to fix it and he re-flashed the problem area and it's been OK ever since. In the mean time, the gutters White Thunder hung are out of balance and the water now flows the wrong way and we've been told the only way to fix it is to rehang them and route the water in the opposite direction. You get the idea.
